Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser

This powerful car set the standard for 4x4 vehicles taking on the competition with its 4 litre, straight 6 engine. Its owner bought the car and used it as his daily driver but when engine problems took the car off the road Adam was unable to repair it after developing a potentially life limiting disorder. The car belongs to veterinary surgeon Jeremy a once keen amateur rally driver whose racing ambitions were curtailed when his wife developed brain cancer. Former Monte Carlo winner and race legend Paddy Hopkirk joins the team to give Jeremy a day to remember.

The boys take on their first Lamborghini V12 supercar when they are secret called in to rescue petrolhead Ged's 1971 Espada. Ged had part restored his car until heart and lung problems meant his plans had ground to a halt.

Ford Escort Mk1 Mexico

Tim and Fuzz travel to the channel islands to take on a 1972 mk.1 Escort Mexico. The car is owned by Gary whose dream to one day own a show stopper was shattered when he was diagnosed with leukaemia.

Citroen 2CV

Tim and Fuzz take on a 1983 Citroën 2CV - the French 'people's car' that won the heart of the whole world. It's owner Stephen, after being diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer, was unable to continue it's restoration.

Porsche 356

Tim and Fuzz make their way to East London to take on a 1964 Porsche 356, without a shred of a doubt, the worst car they have ever taken on. In spite of its almost terminal condition, underneath all that rust and rot lies an automotive legend.

Healey 3000

Tim and Fuzz are off to County Durham to pick up a 1961 Austin Healey 3000. The car is owned by former engineer John. John had planned to completely restore the car as a retirement project however when he was struck down with Parkinson's disease.

Lotus Esprit

The boys head to Essex to secretly fix up a real 70s supercar, famous for turning into a submarine in a James Bond film. But it hasn't been started in 20 years.

Hillman Imp

Tim and Fuzz travel to Stroud in Gloucestershire to take on a 1973 Hillman Imp which has been abandoned for decades. The car belongs to former NHS nurse Margaret and was her pride and joy until it started to need a lot of work to keep it on the road.

Lancia Fulvia

Tim and Fuzz travel to Scotland to take on a 1968 Lancia Fulvia - a 1960s Italian automotive masterpiece. The car belongs to former hairdresser Bill who bought the car back in 1984. It was his pride and joy until it went off the road a few years ago.

Ferguson Tractor

Taking a slightly different route to normal, Tim and Fuzz restore a faithful old farm tractor back to its former glory.

Mitsubishi Evo

Tim and Fuzz are going to Devon to grab a Mitsubishi Evo IV. It belongs to TV repairman Gary, whose racing days ended short when Gary became seriously ill. Gary's family hopes the men will succeed in cheering Gary up.

Austin 7 Chummy

The boys go to East Anglia to pick up a 1924 Austin 7 and give it their signature treatment. Then they arrange to hand it back to its original owner, as planned by his children.

Tim and Fuzz head to Norfolk where a once sporty French hot hatch awaits. The car belongs to 21-year-old student Senna who comes from a family of petrol heads.

Tim and Fuzz are off to Manchester to pick up a 1978 Bedford HA Ice Cream Van. This rusty wreck belongs to Barbara who has served ice cream to the locals for over 50 years.

Renault Alpine 110

Tim and Fuzz pick up a 1972 Renault Alpine 110 rally racer belonging to a former Italian restaurateur who has owned it for 20 years but never actually driven it.

Ford Cortina Mk 3

Tim and Fuzz head to Leicester to pick up a Mk 3 Ford Cortina, once Britain's top selling car but now on the automotive endangered species list. The car belongs to 53-year-old Bobby whose family hope the restored car will give him the pick-me-up he needs.

Suffering with ill health over the years and recently losing his wife, lead to Alan becoming bit of a recluse.

Renault Alpine GTA SL

Tim and Fuzz are off to Dorset to pick up a 1987 Renault Alpine GTA. The car belongs to former computer technician David, who has sadly been struck down by throat cancer, leaving his beloved car off the road and in desperate need of some TLC. JCB Digger

In a departure from the norm, Car S.O.S travel to Southend to take on a 1978 JCB digger. The vehicle belongs to former carpenter Kev who has recently suffered two heart attacks and is now unable to look after his pride and joy.

Ford Mustang

Tragically in 1988, John’s wife died of cancer, aged just 32. John was left as the sole parent of three children, all under 10. He had to immediately give up the job he loved to look after the children, initially going onto benefits to survive. His much-loved Ford Mustang understandably went under a cover (although standing on grass) and has stayed there ever since for 33 years. Tim and Fuzz step in to help bring this vintage bit of US muscle back to life.
