Tuesday

Reverend Bob Brown jogs to Dr Elly Fielding’s house for breakfast. Elly is a bag of nerves as her daughter Claire is about to start her first day at school. Publican Ernie Patchett opens his pub, Patchetts Pacific, for a busy day in preparation for the local table tennis competition. Ernie’s son Chris heads off to his building job. Sergeant George Sullivan and Constable Paul Berry are at the scene of an accident, local lad Craig Wilson has been killed by a train as he graphitized the wall of the rail track. He was protesting to save the local trees. Local legal aid Bernie Withers takes on Craig’s cause and sits himself on a tree – refusing to move. Paul’s wife, Rhonda arrives from their hometown of Ballina. Barmaid Lisa Bennett is nervous about represent Patchetts Pacific in the table tennis match. Jimmy asks Bob to take over the church when he passes on. When he returns to give Jimmy his answer, he finds him dead in one of the church pews.

Domestic Part 1

Ernie's sister recovers from a mugging, but the sentence that her attacker gets angers Ernie and Chris. Amanda is getting to clingy to David and he tells Elly he wants to stay with her to give Amanda the hint. Elly refuses his plea as Claire is having problems at school due to the extravagances David has been treating her to. David is noticeably put out of place when Bob arrives in the morning for breakfast and is favourably more popular with Elly and Claire. Sarah continues to spark bad feeling and Ernie bars her from Patchetts Pacific. Elly tells David she no longer wants him in the house. When David breaks the news to Claire she and Oliver run away.

Domestic Part 2

The school phone Elly and tell her Claire disappeared after a meeting with David. Elly assumes that Claire is with David and tries to contact him. When David arrives at the surgery minus Claire panic rises. Claire and Oliver explore the sewers and try to make their way to the shops via the drainage system. Julie quits her job at the legal centre to keep peace with Warren. But when Oliver disappears he beats her up leading her to run back to Sarah. However when Bob arrives on the scene Elly’s emotions get the better of her and she turns to him. David can’t understand why Elly didn’t turn to him. When Oliver turns up well the search concentrates on Claire. Bob beats the rescue teams to the job and finds Claire in the sewer.

As Bob takes Lionel Thompson to the police station he breaks free. Bob visits his mother in their bed-sit and tells her about the pills. The pills are coming from his mother Diane, and Lionel sold them to get money for food. Sarah and Rhonda wake up with terrible hangovers but a newfound friendship. Paul is amazed at how much money Rhonda spent on drink and worries about Sarah’s influence on her. George finds that Frank is wanted for stolen goods but is worried about his state of health. He calls for Elly to examine him. George wants Frank committed but Elly doesn’t agree. However when Newbridge agree that Frank should be committed Elly signs the forms and he is taken away. Diane takes an overdose when she can see no way out of her situation. Lionel finds her dead.

Babysitting Part 1

Diane is pronounced dead leaving Lionel in the hands of social care. Bob allows him to stay at the rectory. Martha and Rhonda’s attempts at hosting self defence classes are thwarted when Helen Kennedy, of the Parish Council, won’t allow them to use the church hall. Helen also objects to Bob taking in Lionel due to his involvement with the drugs at school. Sarah represents Brian, an actor who sustains an injury at a local shop. However Elly finds no medical evidence of injury and refuses to provide a sick certificate. Sarah feels that Elly is allowing her personal feelings about her prevent her from giving Brian and sick certificate. Elly informs Brian it wouldn’t make a difference who is lawyer is as she does not believe he has an injury. Elly catches Brian performing at the local shopping mall and takes Sarah to see him. Chris meets Leanne and takes her to lunch, she returns the favour with an expensive champagne lunch the next day.

Babysitting Part 2

Bob enrols Lionel back in to school. However on his first day he holds a knife up to the two boys he gave drugs to when they make a comment about his Mum. Bob opens up about his own past where he made a gun to protect himself, which led to his friend being hurt. Helen Kennedy holds a meeting with the Parish Council who order Bob to have Lionel move out of the house within two weeks. Youth worker and Bob’s friend Peter Lewis offers to take in Lionel to live with his family. Lisa undertakes work experience at an upmarket restaurant and attempts to flirt with the head chef Geoffrey. Meanwhile Chris receives a red rose from Leanne. Lisa witnesses Leanne having dinner with two separate men over two nights whilst she is working at the restaurant. Rhonda has to find someone else to babysit Claire when Paul wants to take her out to dinner. Rhonda asks Sarah which doesn’t go very well when Sarah and Claire do not get on very well.

Babysitting Part 3

Bob struggles to know how to handle Lionels disclosure. When Helen Kennedy learns of the reason why Lionel left she involved the police. George and Paul take over and talk to Lionel before taking a statement from Peter. Bob however isn’t sure Lionel is telling the truth. Claire is worried that Elly doesn’t have any friends. Talk diverts to Claire’s friends and she asks Elly if she can invite a friend for dinner. Whilst Elly prepares a meal for 6 year olds, Claire has invited Sarah. Chris falls deeper for Leanne leading Lisa to tell him that she has thinks there is something weird about Leanne. Martha and Rhonda give Annie some advice when starts her periods.

Babysitting Part 4

Lionel confesses that his accusation towards Peter was a lie. He wanted to stay with Bob and thought his account would allow this to happen. Helen Kennedy has to accept she has made bad choices of judgement where Lionel and Peter are concerned. Annie changes her appearance to suit what she thinks men want, however soon decides she’s just going to be her: Chris attempts to get to know Leanne better but is frustrated when she has to leave for work. Leanne confesses to Chris that she is a sex worker, leading their short lived relationship to come to an end. Lisa tells Chris she tried to tell him but couldn’t. Bob says goodbye to Lionel who goes to stay in a children’s home.

Loyalties Part 1

George meets up with his former police colleague Nev Cook. Nev joins Paul when he attends a domestic incident close by. Nev buys some drinks from the pub before heading to celebrate his retirement. He crashes into a baby in its pram before driving away. The residents of Westside try to save the babies life whilst trying to find the culprit. Nev confesses to George it was he who was driving and asks that he help him out. The conflict causes George to turn to alcohol. Sarah and Lisa help Queenie, a homeless resident of Westside, when the Ernie removes the park bench from outside the pub she has slept on for a while. Meanwhile Elly begins to feel torn over being a working mother.

Loyalties Part 2

Sarah and Lisa continue to help Queenie. She speaks about her four children and how she doesn’t hear from any of them anymore. For that reason she doesn’t want a house as there’s no point with no one in it. Sarah and Lisa find her sheltered accommodation which Queenie sabotages. The mayor later comes to her rescue and buys her a new bench which resides outside Patchetts Pacific. Paul works out that Nev was the driver responsible for the hit and run. He confronts Nev who tells him he converted for George early in his career when George was drunk on the job and a child died. When the baby from the hit and run passes away, George tells Nev he can’t cover for him any longer. Ernie hosts dinner for the Mayor in order for Pachetts Pacific to host the council lunches. George tells Martha how important she is to him.

Dreaming Part 1

Chris is annoyed when he is overlooked for the lifeguard job, by Colin, someone who evidentially can’t swim and who the boss has a vested interest in. Lisa advises Colin to talk to Sarah about the unhealthy advances from his boss. When Colin steps down, Chris is given the job. Bob is interviewed by Jackie, a sociology student. He takes a phonecall from a young mother who is threatening to kill both herself and the baby after she has been evicted by her landlord. With the help of Jackie, Bob and George find her in time. Bob walks Jackie home and there is clearly and attraction between them. Paul and Rhonda have their hopes dashed when they attend an auction. They discuss whether moving out of the city is a better option for them.

Dreaming Part 2

Bob has dinner with Jackie and her husband. During which a business contact pushes Bob’s views to the limit. However it only seems to attract Jackie to him further. George and Paul are later called to the house when Jackie and have a heated argument. George is unhappy to learn that Paul is considering leaving Westside. But Paul feels he and Rhonda may never progress and achieve their dreams on his wage. Sarah gets to know Colin and he mistakes his friendly gestures for flirtation. Jackie runs to Bobs house after an argument with Craig but he turns down her advances.

Waking Up Part 1

Jackie finds out she’s pregnant and continues to confide in Bob. Elly puts two and two together and realised there is an attraction between Bob and Jackie. She tells Bob he should step back from Jackie on a professional level. Singer Sandra Watson AKA Casey Watts returns to town but is undercover and asks Lisa, Chris and Ernie to hide her from her manager. Rhonda starts teaching English to Italian man Enzo. However he strikes up a relationship with Ernie’s sister Lilian. Jackie arrives at Bob’s house and asks if she can stay. She says they could spend the night together with no one knowing; Bob says no.

Waking Up Part 2

Jackie tells Craig she’s pregnant. She thanks Bob for his support and friendship and apologies for crossing the line. Sandra spends time with Lisa and Chris who spend time reminiscing about their childhoods. Sandra performs at Patchetts Pacific however the crowd do not appreciate her gritty song which is far removed from her bubblegum pop image. Bob tells Elly he will be staying away from women moving forward. She sabotages his interview for a new housemate when she becomes jealous. During another argument, Craig tells Jackie she can’t go through with the pregnancy. She stabs him and continues to cook dinner whilst he sits bleeding. Craig calls for help and Elly and George arrive. Jackie is asked to come to the station and runs back into the house before George can get her. Bob manages to get into the house and talk Jackie down.

The Big Day Part 1

Sarah can’t remember her night out when she mixes alcohol with antihistamine. Bin helps her piece her evening together and it transpires she was taken in by Mormons. Enzo proposes to Lillian and she accepts. Local resident Lucky is wrongly accused of stealing bikes, however Sarah finds holes in George’s case. Whilst waving hello to Lucky, Elly loses concentration and crashes her car. She leaves a note for the driver however he does not take it well. It’s Martha’s birthday and she plans to have dinner with her son Steven. George feels sidelined as he feels after four years together he should have been introduced to Steven. George arrives at Martha’s and tells her he wants to be a part of her life. Martha confesses that she has spilt Steven and that he consistently lets her down. Steven doesn’t arrive until 3:30am and finds George at Martha’s house. Steven is put out that Martha doesn’t let him in, after she closes the door she breaks down to George.

The Big Day Part 2

Bob married Lillian and Enzo in a quick ceremony when they realise each of their families have organised separate receptions to celebrate their wedding. Sarah has a day in court representing cases from the local community. The judge scorns her for being ill prepared. Elly is also in court as the driver whose car she crashed into claims more damages than what she caused. The lawyer David has organised does not arrive, and the judge forces Sarah to represent Elly. Sarah manages to force a confession from the man in question, informing he knew Elly was a Dr and hoped to get more compensation from her. Elly thanks Sarah and the frost between the two seems to be thawing.

Rags to Riches Part 1

George starts to feel unwell and goes to see Elly. He confesses he has been taking medication purchased from a friend to help him stop drinking. Elly informs him that taking the medication without supervision has caused his illness. He insists he no longer has a drinking problem. Elly tells George she’s always there for him if he needs to talk. Martha asks Lisa to visit Wheels, the friend of Lisa’s older brother Sonny. Wheels lost movement in his legs after an accident and is now in a wheelchair. Lisa suggests Lucky move in with Wheels as the squat he lives in. Sarah receives Wheels compensation payment of $35,000.

Rags to Riches Part 2

Lucky’s girlfriend Jill befriends Wheels when she realises how much money he has. She talks him into buying a new car worth $28,000 and soon she pushes Lucky out of the equation. Claire invites her friend James over to stay. Together they invite James father Richard over for dinner and attempt to match make him with Elly. Elly and Richard call their bluff and tell them they will soon be married. Paul and Rhonda receive a phone bill for $200 due to all the reverse phone calls Rhonda has been accepting from her mother in Balina. She buys into a DIY jewellery business to make money however soon realised she has been conned and that she only gets paid on sale of the jewellery she makes. Wheels and Jill go out and he allows her to place a bet on a horse, which he loses. Jill dumps him in the car and he is left stranded by the roadside. Wheels returns and tells Lucky, Lisa and Chris what happened. Wheels apologises to Lucky and together they take off and leave Westside in Wheels’ new car.

The Game Part 1

Bob tries to turn some of the girls he is working with into a basketball team. Rhonda agrees to be their coach but is a little surprised but their lacklustre attitude. Bob tries to introduce one of his new probationers Mai, into the team however she is met with a frosty reception due to her ethnicity. Elly looks after a young boy Danny when his Mum has to have an operation. She doesn’t trust older brother Mario to look after Danny as he’s just been released from prison. Bob asks Ernie if he’ll give Mario a job at Patchetts in order for him to get his life back on tracks. However when Mario agrees to take the job his friend Barry asks him to join him in an armed robbery. Chris is cleaning the police station for some extra money when a woman arrives and demands her lock her up as she’s going to kill her partner. Chris ends up getting locked in the cell with her.

The Game Part 2

Mario receives bad comments from locals at the pub. He loses his temper and smashes a crate full of glasses before walking out. Bob attempts to talk him around however he heads out on the job with Barry. Danny is shot during the crossfire and Mario is taken back into custody. The Wildcats learn more about Mai’s past and show a better understanding as they play and win their first game. George worries that the police station may be closed due to cuts in the area.

Cops Part 1

George and Paul face constant observations to see if the police station can remain open. David’s girlfriend Amanda arrives at Elly’s looking for David. She tells Elly she is pregnant and hasn’t seen David for three weeks. Claire finds a picture in the tabloids which shows David is on holiday with TV Producer Miki Fallon. Claire overhears Elly speaking time Bob about how frustrated is with David’s lack of support and responsibility. Ernie tried to rent out Lilian’s house whilst she is away. He falls victim to child squatters and then Chris sabotages potential renters so that he can stay in the house.

Cops Part 2

Claire tells Bob she realises Elly doesn’t like David and confesses she doesn’t either at the moment. David returns from his holiday full of gifts for Claire which he asks Elly to pass on for him. George decides to hand in his resignation when he learns the police station is potentially being sold. Martha and Rhonda round up some support to keep the police station open. Sarah represents a man who loses custody and access to his children. He takes a man hostage at a petrol station, dousing him in petrol and threatening to set light to them. George and Paul arrives on the scene and George swaps places with the hostage. George manages to talk him down and becomes a local hero. It is announced the police station will remain open. David realises it’s a word Elly would have used in Claire’s earshot and reprimands Elly for it. Elly and David attempt to talk however it ends in an argument and Claire echos Elly’s sentiment when she tells him to leave.

Betrayed Part 1

Lisa’s Mum Margaret welcomes her boyfriend Sam Bulmer back home; her first relationship since Lisa’s Dad died. George tells Martha that he arrested Sam Bulmer for sexual assault of a 15 year old girl some years ago. The case only closed because the girl changed her story on the witness stand as her parents wished to bury the incident. Claire is still upset with David and refuses to go to the beach with him unless Elly joins them. Elly reluctantly agrees. The family day out to a beach which holds romantic memories for Elly and David brings feelings back for Elly and she asks David to stay the night. He rejects her advances and leaves. Sam goes to the pub and makes it clear to Ernie that he cheated on Margaret several times whilst he was away. Sam then reprimands Lisa, accusing her of flirting with Chris and acting like a tart. Whilst Margaret is at work, Sam goes into Lisa’s bedroom and tries to touch her.

Betrayed Part 2

Margaret takes out her anger over Sam’s departure in Lisa. Lisa talks to Ernie who tells her stories about how Margaret used to come into the pub when she was younger and be the life and sound of the party. He tells Lisa he was in love with Margaret for a long time. Elly finds it hard to deal with the fact David is in love with Miki and invites him out for lunch. It’s obvious through the lunch that David is besotted with Miki and nothing Elly can say or do can change how he views her. Ernie and Martha both speak to Margaret about how she is treating Lisa. Margaret accuses Lisa of flaunting herself around the house and blames Lisa for what happened. Lisa goes to the pub and asks Ernie if she can rent a room before breaking down in his arms.

Home Sweet Home Part 1

Lisa is still staying at the pub and doing everything she can to avoid going home and seeing Margaret. Bob is concerned when a homeless pregnant teen turns up at the rectory and runs off before he can find her some accommodation. Bob later finds her and delivers her baby. David plans to take Claire away for the weekend with Miki. Martha encourages Elly to meet Miki before the weekend. Elly invites David and Miki to dinner and spends time planning the perfect meal. Chris goes on strike causing tension between he and Ernie. Lisa tells them they are like a second family to her and she wishes they would stop arguing and appreciate eachother. David and Miki have dinner with Elly and Claire. The evening goes well however the tension is evident. David shows little awareness of how Elly feels and tells her he thinks Miki is the one for him. Claire tells Elly that she doesn’t like Miki.

Home Sweet Home Part 2

George tells Lisa that her dog Tipsy has been biting people and will be out down if she’s not looked after better. Lisa visits Margaret and asks her to look after Tipsy but Margaret says she can’t. Lisa takes Tipsy to the police station and is devastated as she hands Tipsy over. Later on Ernie tells Lisa that Tipsy can stay at the pub. Claire doesn’t want to go away with David and Miki for the weekend. Elly calls on David for help and he tries to persuade Claire to change her mind. David tells Miki he is going to cancel their weekend and will be spending the weekend with Claire by himself. Elly intervenes and tells Claire she has to go and tells David they can’t keep allowing Claire to run their love lives. Bob and Sarah help open a homeless shelter. Martha arrives at Elly’s with a pizza, a bottle of wine and a deck of cards to stop her from feeling lonely.

Vampires Part 1

Lisa tells Margaret she has been thinking of moving back home. Margaret says it would be awkward as she has asked Sam to come back. Lisa can’t believe Margaret is taking him back after what he did to her. The residents of Westside throw Lisa a surprise birthday party. Bob ensures Elly comes out to stop her from staying at home missing Claire. Annie stays with Paul and Rhonda and after an argument runs to the church where someone grabs her in the graveyard. Paul and George find no one there. Bob explains to Rhonda that when Annie was three years old she was left alone by her parents and kidnapped. The trauma of that incident remains. Margaret arrives at Lisa’s party, drunk and causes a scene. She tells Bob and Ernie Sam has refused to come back to her and then tells Lisa she has ruined her life and tries to hit her. Ernie stops her and takes her away.

Vampires Part 2

Annie is convinced The Shadow Man has Rhonda and takes Paul to the graveyard. They find Rhonda’s shoe. Rhonda wakes up with a bad head injury and tries to stay calm to win her abductors trust. George and Paul arrive at the scene and try to defuse the situation. Sam arrives back at Margaret’s. She asks him why he changed his mind about coming back. He says he missed her and will put up with any conditions she enforces. Lisa can’t believe Margaret has allowed Sam back into the house. She tells Sam that Margaret may have believed his act but she hasn’t. Elly films the documentary for Miki. They share a drink afterwards and Miki surprises Elly by downplaying her feelings for David and their relationship. As night draws in, Rhonda has earned her abductors trust. He speaks about the voices in his head and she does her best to get him to walk out of the shed with her.

Aftermath Part 1

Rhonda is in hospital in a critical condition. Westside waits for news of her condition as Paul keeps a bedside vigil. The pressure on her heart is too much and Rhonda suffers a heart attack and dies. The police officer who shot Rhonda finds solace in George who helps keep him occupied and fights off Miki when she turns up at the station with a TV crew. George gives an interview in his place but ends up forcing Miki out of the station when she manipulates his responses. Sarah and Annie struggle the most to come to terms with Rhonda’s death. However they visit Paul at home and offer to cook and clean but are turned away by Paul who says he wants to be alone. Paul trashes his house and then takes his gun in his hand.

Aftermath Part 2

Bob finds Paul. He’s asleep clutching his gun and tells Bob he wanted to end his life last night. Sarah is grieving for Rhonda and doesn’t understand how the officer who shot her has been allowed to return to work so soon. She finds out he was involved in a siege just three months ago and is worried the same thing will happen again. He later resigns and Sarah explains to George her feelings towards losing Rhonda. Annie loses BP; the dog she has befriended. Paul helps her find him and reaches him from an overflowing drain in front of the media crews who have gathered to capture the story. Miki visits Elly and Claire who are waiting for David to collect Claire for their weekend away. David doesn’t turn up, and Miki learns from Claire that David plans to propose to her. Miki shares with Elly that her feelings for David may not be reciprocated.

Fishing Part 1

With Claire away for the weekend, Elly hires a boat and invites Bob to go fishing with her. Elly catches a duck instead of a fish and tends to the injured duck which has wore caught around its beak. As the night draws in the boat breaks down and Elly and Bob resign themselves to spending the night on the boat. They discuss their five year friendship, and Elly talks about all the women who would like to be spending a night with Bob on a boat. The two share a moment and kiss, after the pull away they kiss again before being interrupted by a search party. Chris and Lisa throw a birthday party for their friend Heather who is turning 18, despite protestations from her over protective Father. At the party a local man Joseph Parker, who has recently been arrested for indecent exposure, tries to give Heather some flowers and is thrown out of the party. Joseph stumbles past Martha in the middle of the night with a badly cut hand.

Fishing Part 2

Sarah is called to represent Joseph in the trial. She soon starts to question the validity of Heather’s disclosure and wonders if the real culprit is someone closer to home. Westside gossip is in full swing regarding Elly and Bobs night on the boat. However despite interrogations from both Sarah and Martha neither are giving anything away. Heathers trial gains interest from both the media and the residents of Westside. Sarah is heavily criticised for representing Joseph and then for suggesting that Heathers father may have been responsible for the assault. After she questions Heather on the stand, Elly criticises Sarah for further traumatising Heather. However during the questioning of her father, Heather can no longer stay quiet and confesses that it has been him who has been sexually abusing her since she was 12. Despite a win, Sarah is distraught at what she has put Heather through.

Episode 36

Bob and Martha’s soup kitchen is in danger of having its funding cut when Helen Kennedy informs Bob the parish council are not happy with his attitudes. They feel he spends too much time on lost causes. Helen tells Bob he is at risk of being replaced and the main reason is due to the parish council believing he is having an affair with Elly. Bob tells Elly what everyone thinks about them and she announces to a packed lunch that she and Bob spent the night on a boat, shared a kiss and nothing more. Claire is still looking after Howard, the duck Elly and Bob rescued on the boat. Sarah and Martha tell Bob what Elly announced to the pub. Elly clashes with Dr Ben Stewart regarding one of her patients.

It’s the day of the custody hearing. Claire wants to go with Elly and Elly says she can. Bob arrives for moral support but there’s no sign of Sarah. At the courts proceedings are delayed when Sarah doesn’t turn up. Bob takes Claire to school and goes to check on Sarah. He finds her dead. George, Paul and Inspector Harry Haddock arrive on the scene. Sarah has been sexually assaulted as well. George goes to the court and breaks the news to Elly, she is devastated and the hearing is postponed. Westside remains in shock and Sam is brought in for questioning. He says he has an alibi. Elly and Miki have another row and Miki tells her that just because her friend has died, the custody hearing will still go ahead. David can’t believe Miki fought with Elly after Sarah’s death, he leaves her and arrives on Elly’s doorstep. Bob gathers the residents of E Street at Sarah’s house. They hold a memorial for Sarah.

Episode 52

Daniel and his four kids; Toni, Simon, Tom and Sally are living on a boat as their house is being refurbished. Elly and Claire are supposed to be joining them for a day trip but Elly postpones the trip as Claire is upset over Sarah’s death. David suggests that he spends the day with Elly and Claire. They go fishing and bump into the Windsor’s. They end up spending the day together. George is convinced Sam killed Sarah but Sam’s alibi is watertight. She tells George and Paul that she and Sam have been having an affair and that Sam was with her on the night Sarah died. She later calls Sam and says she doesn’t know what he’s done but she’s covered for him.

Episode 53

David tries to convince Daniel and Toni that Elly is having a mid life crisis. He tells them she is not sane at the moment. When Elly finds out she throws David out of the house. Marge has to go to hospital for an operation to remove cancerous cells. The operation is a success. An arrest is made for Sarah’s death letting Sam off the hook. George is still convinced Sam is guilty and picks a fight with him in the pub.

Episode 54

Elly wonders why Bob hasn’t been coming round for breakfast. He tells her he thought he was in the way of she and David. She tells him David has gone and hopes he’ll join her for breakfast again. Simon, Sally and Tom plot to get rid of Elly. After they see David leaving Elly’s house, they tell Daniels Elly is having an affair. Newbridge police drop the charges on the man arrested for Sarah’s death. Sam gets drunk and lashes out at Ernie. George arrests him and keeps him in the cells over night. Paul suspects he has just arrested Sam to question him over Sarah. New lawyer Jennifer St James arrives; David and Paul are smitten.

Episode 55

Elly joins the Windsor’s on their boat whilst Claire decides to visit her grandparents. Simon, Sally and Tom subject Elly to a weekend of lobsters, water buckets and other tricks. However Elly manages to strike a bond with Tom when she helps him with his sea sickness, and with Toni when Toni explains how happy Daniel has been since he met Elly. Lisa and Chris' old friend Wheels arrives. Wheels is a mixer for a band and is in a wheelchair after he was knocked down before a gig. He is slightly perturbed when Lisa announces she is engaged to Chris. Paul plans a romantic evening with Jennifer, however his plans are scuppered when he invites Martha and George. Sally and Tom are struck down with measles, meaning the Windsor clan have to stay at Elly’s house. Sam begins to have erotic dreams about Lisa.

Episode 56

Jennifer’s Dad arrives in Westside and clearly objects to her helping the needy folk of E Street. David tells Elly he won’t allow Claire home whilst the Windsor children are there with measles. Simon, Sally and Tom are upset when they hear David speculating that Elly will marry Daniel and be their new Mum. Paul tells Jennifer about Rhonda’s death. Chris gets jealous when he sees Lisa and Wheels having fun together. The Windsor’s return to their home as David tells Elly is going to re-apply for custody of Claire. Sam offers Anna; a young hitchhiker a lift home.

Episode 57

Sam refuses to let Anna out of his truck. She eventually escapes his clutches and runs to the Westside police station. She tells her story to George. Claire arrives home and is not happy to find that the Windsor’s have been sleeping in her bed. Elly later agrees to look after the children whilst Daniel is away on a flight. Claire’s jealously grows further when Elly discovers Tom has an ear infection, which makes the Windsor kids fascinated by Elly’s medical knowledge. Lisa tries to convince Wheels to go to the hospital and have tests to find out the extent of his leg injuries. David asks Jennifer for advice on gaining custody of Claire. Jennifer refuses to take on the case, as she believes his jealously over Daniel and Elly has fuelled his interest and not his love for Claire. Marge tells Martha she feels Sam will leave her if her test results mean she can’t have a sexual relationship with him.

Episode 58

Claire arrives at the rectory, where David is staying and says she is sick. He allows her to have the day of school and indulges her with junk food and videos. Bob calls Elly and tells her David has Claire. She takes Claire home and explains that no one will ever come between them. Sam teases Lisa about she and Chris, he scares her when he grabs her arm and holds it tight. Elly tells Marge her tests are all clear. Jennifer tells Paul she wants them to be just friends and nothing more. Georges daughter Alice calls and says she will be coming to stay very soon. Lisa and Chris hold their engagement party in the local park, everyone celebrates except Sam who is watching from afar. Chris presents Lisa with a pair of earrings. When they return home from the party Lisa finds that one earring is missing. She goes back to park alone to find the earring. As she picks it up Sam comes from behind and grabs her.

Episode 59

Claire gets ready to spend the school holidays with David. Elly says she’ll miss her. George is nervous about meeting Alice after so long. Lisa wakes up in the park scared and confused and turns up at Wheel’s squat. She says nothing causing Wheels to be worried. Meanwhile Chris is looking for Lisa and wondering why she hasn’t turned up for work – Wheels tells him he hasn’t seen Lisa after she tells him she doesn’t want to see anyone. Elly arrives at the squat and Wheels tells her he called her for Lisa. Lisa breaks down and tells Elly she has been raped. Elly inadvertently tells George that Lisa was attacked, as Lisa won’t go to the police herself. Wheels takes Chris to see Lisa but she tells him to leave. The Windsor kids stay with Elly while Daniel is on a flight. As David is boarding the jet Alice arrives at the airfield and talks him into taking her on the jet to Newbridge, then Daniel hits a problem, he radios mayday as the plane loses control and crashes.

Episode 60

As George and Martha wait for Alice to arrive, news comes in that she and Daniel’s plane has crashed. Martha alerts Elly who has to break the news to the Windsor kids. Elly tells Marge and Chris that Lisa has been raped and that she has asked to be left alone. Daniel rescues Alice from the plane debris – George joins the search team and locates Daniel and Alice in the bush. Marge tells Paul that Sam has run away and he begins to fear for Lisa’s life. In the dark of the night, Sam arrives at the squat and attacks Wheels.

Episode 61

Paul arrives at the squat in time to pull Sam away for Wheels. He arrests him for assault. Thanks to Jennifer he later gets bail, which causes a row between she and Paul. David tries his best to entertain Claire. Daniel is discharged from hospital and Elly stays the night - however they sleep in separate beds. George's ex-wife Katy arrives to see Alice in hospital. Martha is upset when George introduces her as 'a friend'. Lisa asks Elly to perform hypnosis on her. Marge is present when Lisa reveals that her attacker told her he killed Sarah. Elly asks Lisa to identify the attacker - Lisa says it was Sam.

Episode 62

Lisa wakes up from hypnosis unable to remember what she revealed. Elly tells Marge that no one must tell Lisa what she said until she is strong enough to confront the memory. Elly tells George that Lisa said Sam's name, Marge is asked not to tell Sam. Elly feels she is not welcome by the Windsor children and tells Daniel their relationship is moving too fast. George and Paul re-question Sam's alibi and explain there have been two rapes and a murder. She tells Sam she won't lie for him anymore. Alice leaves the hospital and turns up at Patchetts Pacific. Elly takes Lisa to the rape crisis centre and Claire tells David she misses Elly and wants to go home. Marge makes Sam a cake laced with rat poison, he takes a bite of the cake and falls to the floor.

Episode 63

Marge goes to the rectory and confesses to Bob that she has killed Sam. Bob tells Elly she must tell Lisa before someone else does. Wheels convinces Lisa to go back through hypnosis. She agrees and once again goes back to the night of the party, Lisa remembers Sam raped her and Elly then tells her that Marge has killed him. Homicide chief Pete Kominski arrives to investigate Sam's murder. Jennifer sets up practice at the rectory and Ernie gives Alice a job at the pub.

Episode 64

Martha and Ernie drum up support to raise cash for Marge's bail. However Marge refuses the bail money and tells Lisa she has to pay for what she did to Sam. Lisa handcuffs herself to the cell until Marge agrees to accept legal help. David tells Elly he will never try for custody of Claire again. Simon unplugs the phone to stop away of Elly's calls getting through to Daniel - she later calls of their relationship as she feels it is unfair on Claire and the Windsor children. Chris wants to take Lisa away for a break, but she refuses and tells him their engagement is off and they are over.

Episode 65

The residents of E Street prepare for Marge's trial. Lisa returns her engagement ring to Chris. Paul tells Martha not to worry about George and Katy's relationship. George later tells Martha that he loves her. Wheels tells Ernie he had nothing to do with Chris and Lisa's break up. Lisa and Marge testify at the trial, during which Lisa tells Marge not to blame herself for what Sam did to her. Alice is not happy to see Katy trying to win back George when he is happy with Martha. Drunk and emotional - Chris drives his car into a tree.

Episode 66

Chris escapes with minor inures but faces a police charge. Claire tells Elly she hopes that Bob will start to visit again now that she has stopped seeing Daniel. Elly relays this to Bob who tells her three's a crowd. Marge gets a sentence of 8 years. She asks Wheels to look after Lisa for her. Elly and Daniel get the children's approval after they see how unhappy they are without each other. Elly cons David into looking after all the kids for the weekend so she and Daniel can be alone. Martha and Alice are upset when George and Katy spend the day together. Chris and Alice come to the rescue of Megan, a young girl they find in the pub toilets trying to cut her wrists.

Episode 67

Elly and Daniel set off for their weekend leaving David in charge of the kids. George doesn't go shopping with Martha in order to stay with Katy. Ernie and Lisa fall out when he pressures her about a return to work and her relationship with Chris. Ernie tells Chris and Alice that they can't keep Megan in the pub, however things take a different angle when Megan tells Chris she is pregnant. Lisa moves into Wheel's squat with Bob's help. Wheels begins his rehabilitation therapy. Martha, George and Katy take part in a heated game of scrabble leading Martha and George to split up.

Episode 68

Simon invites his girlfriend Paris to stay. David struggles to keep them all under control. Wheels sets up his rehab equipment and he and Lisa share a new positive outlook on life. Martha interrupts Elly and Daniel's weekend and then sets out for revenge on Katy. Chris and Alice try to help Megan make a decision about her baby. But Ernie calls Megan's parents and they come to take Megan home. Megan tells them she is pregnant and Chris says the baby is his. George admits to Katy that he is still in love with Martha. Bob, Paul and Jennifer go for pizza. They spot a criminal Pete Kominski is after. They call Kominski and stand in shock as Kominski shoots dead the criminal without giving him a chance to surrender.

Episode 69

Lisa and Alice meet for the first time. Jennifer is shocked by Kominski's brash approach to the shooting. Paul is also involved when Kominski blackmails him into saying he was in the house when the shot was triggered. Chris is summoned to the Bromley household and Mrs Bromley tells he and Megan that she has booked Megan in for an abortion. Megan's Dad also gives Chris a cheque for $5000 to leave Westside and Megan. Jennifer finishes her relationship with Kominski but he refuses to take no for an answer. Katy apologises to Martha and then leaves Westside, but Martha tells George it is too late for them. Alice tells Wheels about Chris and Megan, he breaks the news to Lisa who takes it surprisingly well. David decides to quit TV life and go back to the hospital as a surgeon.

Episode 70

Claire is missing Bob. Toni feels left out as Tom begins to get closer to Elly. Chris gives the cheque back to Mr Bromley. He says he'll marry Megan and be a Dad to the baby. David's last TV segment goes to air leaving Elly and Martha wondering why he quit. Elly phones the station who reveal he was axed. Lisa and Wheels share a kiss but both admit they don't want to take it further. Elly rushes Tom to hospital after he gets sick. Bob tells Jennifer she can stay with him until Kominski calms down. She packs her bags but as she gets into her car Kominski is waiting for her.

Episode 71

Tom has an obstruction in his intestines; David performs surgery to see what it is. The situation affects all the Windsor kids and Claire. Sally tells Claire Tom's illness is her fault leading Claire to run away from Toni's care. Lisa decides to go back to work at Patchett's, Ernie agrees she can come back in a week. Chris and Megan announce their engagement in front of the Patchetts crowd and Lisa. The Bromley's give their consent and give Chris a job. Claire arrives at the hospital and Elly wants to know why she ran away. Elly and Toni argue as Toni feels that Elly is blaming her for Claires disappearance. Jennifer and Paul make Kominski realise he has a problem and tell him to get help. David tells Elly and Daniel that Tom has cancer.

Episode 72

Elly tells Claire and the Windsor's that Tom has cancer. Lisa and Chris talk before his wedding to Megan and make their peace with each other. Elly breaks down in Bob's arms about her sadness over Tom's illness. Toni witnesses this and realises Elly cares for them. Alice dresses up George in an attempt to win back Martha. Wheels surprises the church congregation by walking down the aisle. Chris and Megan marry surrounded by their friends. Bob visits Tom in hospital and tells him to write down what he is feeling about his illness. Martha tells George she loves him but wants some commitment from him. After the wedding Wheels and Lisa finally succumb to their feelings and share a bath.

Episode 73

Alice helps Chris and Megan move into the house Megan's Dad has lent them. Elly and Bob try their best to help the Windsor family come to terms with Tom's illness. Lisa goes back to work at Patchett's, leaving Alice slightly jealous of Lisa's relationship with Ernie and the customers. George reveals that he and Katy never divorced and therefore he is still married to her. Daniel blames himself for Tom's illness by saying he was too distracted by Elly to notice Tom was unwell. He tells Elly he no longer wants a relationship with her.

Episode 74

Jennifer interviews potential flatmates as she no longer wants to live alone. Now equipped with a set of crutches, Wheels gets a job working in a kitchen. George shows some commitment towards Martha by moving in with her. Chris and Megan decide to have their first dinner party, it all goes horribly wrong when their guests Paul and Alice spend the entire evening arguing! Elly makes progress with Tom and tells him he must see his cancer as a monster he has to fight. He adopts Zorgarth from a computer game and makes it his mission to win. However Daniel continues to treat Elly badly leading her to seek comfort with Bob. A friendship begins to blossom between Lisa and Alice. Wheel's ex-band mate Jo-Jo arrives at Patchetts and punches Wheels!

Episode 75

Jo-Jo explains her attitude towards Wheels - he walked out on them during a gig. Her presence causes Lisa and Wheels some grief. Alice begins to feel like George does not want her around. However George feels Alice need some friends and asks Paul to ask Alice on a date. Daniel apologises to Elly and they get back together. David becomes Jennifer's new flatmate and Megan starts to get excited about her pregnancy.

Episode 76

The stress of Tom's illness takes it toll on Sally who runs away. She is found by Megan who looks after her and returns her to the Windsor house. However when Elly and Toni have another fight, Toni packs a bag and runs away. Wheels and Jo-Jo's band 'Undercover' reforms - thanks to Lisa, who also convinces Ernie to let them play at Patchetts. Their performance is fantastic and Ernie finds a fan in Jo-Jo. Jennifer is unsure about David as a flatmate when Claire comes to stay for the weekend. Paul asks Alice out on a date.

Episode 77

Toni meets Susan, a young girl from the streets who tells Toni she can stay with her and her new family. Susan introduces Toni to Lara McKoy - leader of 'The Children of Tomorrow'. Lara takes in runaway children and gives them a home, however it soon appears that Lara and Susan are running some kind of cult. After much initiation Toni is accepted as part of their group. Elly and David begin to plan Claire's birthday party. Ernie and Jo-Jo have a date, but Jo-Jo's feelings do not run as deep as Ernie's. Megan is upset when Chris misses a lunch date with her and her parents.

Episode 78

Relations are strained between Elly and David at Claire's birthday party when he buys Claire a toy gun, a present Elly does not agree with. Wheels gets fired from the kitchen's and is on the look out for a new job. George is offered promotion and Toni officially becomes a 'Child of Tomorrow'.

Episode 79

Bob begins to grow suspicious of Lara's cult and shares his fears with Jennifer. Lara puts pressure on Toni and tells her that the group need money in order to survive and thrive. Toni is desperate to stay and therefore steals money from Daniel's kitty. Claire is still playing with her gun, much to Elly's annoyance. However when she shoots Tom 'dead' she realises it's not a game anymore and tells Elly to take the gun back to the shop. Jo-Jo is having an effect on everyone - Ernie is smitten by her and Lisa feels left out by her growing relationship with Wheels.

Episode 80

George turns down the promotion to stay in Westside. Jo-Jo tries to let Ernie down gently. Bob, David and Jennifer have a game of golf. Bob and Jennifer try every trick in the book in order to knock David down a peg or two! Elly and Daniel visit Lara's house and both try to talk to Toni. However neither are successful and Toni speaks of her desire to stay with her new family. Lara is proud and sends Toni on her first mission - to steal money from Elly's house. But on entering the house with Susan, Toni can't go through with stealing.

Episode 81

Toni returns to Lara and is punished for letting down the group. Lara locks her in the rat filled cellar with no food or water. Wheels starts work in the Patchett's kitchens. The E Streeters try their best to cheer up Ernie after Jo-Jo broke his heart, but he is not fooled by their plans. Daniel tries his best to get Toni back, but Lara tells him she has left the group and says she doesn't know where Toni is. Lara later tells Toni that Daniel came to the house to tell her he no longer wants Toni in his life. Toni is devastated and pledges her soul to the 'Children of Tomorrow'.

Episode 82

Toni returns home and speaks to Bob. He tells her the truth behind Lara's cult and tells her how damaging they are. Toni returns to the group and tells Lara and Susan that Patchetts would be a prime target for money. The group agree and they enter Patchetts after closing time. However it appears that Toni has set the group up and Lara and Susan are led away by George and Paul. Toni, however doesn't return home and runs away. She meets a guy called Harley and he offers to share his bench with her. The E Streeters present Ernie with a holiday ticket to Surfers Paradise.

Episode 83

Ernie goes away leaving Lisa and Alice in charge of the pub! They organise a cocktail night but lose out on profits after the happy hour is over. Megan is rushed to hospital in pain and loses her baby. Toni and Harley make friends and she brings him home to meet the family. He instantly does not get on with Daniel, but Elly and the kids think he's quite nice. Jo-Jo wants Wheels to join her on a tour and she tells Lisa not to hold Wheels back.

Episode 84

David begins his campaign to impress Jennifer. 'Undercover' play a gig at the pub to raise money to make up for the cocktail night. Paul decides to move into the pub as he is lonely in the flat on his own. Chris turns to drink to forget about Megan losing the baby. Alice does her best to console him. Harley tries to convince Toni into staying at home as she has a family who love her - something he doesn't have. Wheels asks Lisa to leave Westside and join him on the 'Undercover' tour.

Episode 85

Lisa decides to go with Wheels, but a seed of doubt is put in her mind when Ernie returns and makes her bar manager. Elly, Daniel and the kids depart for a weekend on the farm. Harley causes trouble by hanging around Patchetts Pacific scrounging for food. George tells him he won't place him in custody, and instead places him in Bob's care. Megan agrees to leave hospital and return home with Chris, however she is still clearly devastated by her loss.

Episode 86

Megan is not handling things well and looks like she is close to a breakdown. Bob seems to making progress with Harley. Elly and Toni have a long awaited chat whilst on the farm. Toni talks to Daniel and they both admit to recent mistakes. Daniel suggests that Toni should spend time with her Nan on the farm whilst the others return home. Jo-Jo is surprised when she hears Wheels has asked Lisa on the tour. She tells Lisa she is not welcome on the your. Lisa tells Wheels he should go on the tour without her. They share a last bath and say their goodbyes as Wheels and Jo-Jo depart.

Episode 87

Claire and Tom do their best to destroy Elly and Daniels weekend as they are feeling left out. Ernie is excited as his lady friend from holiday is coming to stay in Westside. David and Jennifer give Ernie a few lessons in culture in preparation for the big arrival! On her first day as bar manager, Lisa employs Harley as chef. Megan wants another child but Chris feels they are not ready. He confides in Lisa as Megan confides in Alice.

Episode 88

Megan sees Lisa and Chris together and gets the wrong idea. It drives her to the edge and she takes an overdose. Ernie has everyone working hard to prepare for Abby's arrival. Daniel decides he wants to marry Elly and tries several ways to propose to her. Harley explains that he has run away from his adoptive parents to find his real parents. All he knows is that he was born in Newbridge hospital. Bob pledges to help him and with Elly's help he finds Harley's mother is Annie Glover; a woman Bob was once involved with. Bob tells Martha that he is Harley's father.

Episode 89

Bob confesses to Harley that he is his father. He tells him he never knew he had a son, but Harley runs out. He takes refuge in Alice's room at the pub, he confides in her and tells her about Bob. Daniel awaits an answer from Elly. Chris keeps a bedside vigil as Megan lays on a coma. Abby arrives but no one in Westside seems to take to kindly to her. Bob visits Annie, she is in a wheelchair and unresponsive after a motorbike accident. He tells her how he much he was in love with her and explains they have a child. He realises Harley got his name from Bob's love of motorbikes which Annie always knew about.

Episode 90

Alice tried to persuade Harley to talk to Bob. When Ernie and George find out that she has been keeping Harley upstairs, Ernie tells her she has to move out of the pub. Alice is upset and feels unwanted, Lisa tells her she can move into her new flat if she likes. Bob is devastated when he finds out through Claire that Elly and Daniel are engaged. However Claire has the wrong end of the stick and Elly hasn't yet accepted the proposal. Megan awakes from her coma. Harley returns to the rectory, much to the relief of Bob. Claire and Tom invite all of Westside to celebrate Elly and Daniel's engagement and despite the confusion, Elly accepts Daniel's proposal.

Episode 91

David tells Chris he thinks Megan should be put into psychiatric care. Lisa isn't too sure about Alice's wacky ideas for their flat. Elly and Bob catch up on each other's news. She tells him she is getting married and he tells her about Harley. Ernie is convinced that Harley has stolen a bottle of scotch from the pub. Harley denies he has and Bob stands by him. Harley later confesses to Bob that he stole the scotch for him, to say thanks. They have an emotional show down where they both realise they are as hurt and as confused as each other.

Episode 92

Daniel presents Elly with a ring. Bob finds it hard to hide his sadness when he sees her delightfully gazing at it. Megan's behaviour is out of control and she embarrasses Chris by dressing up in a raunchy outfit and displaying it at the pub. Bob and Harley decide they want to help Annie's mother look after her. Jennifer says she will help them as much as she can. However Annie's Mum doesn't want their help and does not want Harley in her life. When Harley visits his mother alone, Edna locks them both in the sitting room and sets fire to the house. Bob arrives in time to see the house a blaze.

Episode 93

Bob saves Harley from the fire but it's too late for Annie and Edna, they both die in the blaze. Annie is buried in the St John's grounds and Harley lays flowers at her grave. Chris is fined for the car crash he had after he and Lisa split up, Abby comes to his rescue and gives him the cash. Daniel visits David to talk about his interference into his and Elly's relationship. They end up getting drunk and Daniel stays over. The following morning Daniel walks into the bathroom to find Jennifer in the shower - she does little to conceal herself.

Episode 94

Tom decides to run away. Lisa and Alice have an unusual housewarming party. Daniel tries to fight his growing attraction to Jennifer.

Episode 95

Bob brings Toni and Tom home. Elly, Daniel, David and Jennifer play a game of tennis during which the sexual tension between Daniel and Jennifer is apparent. The kids spend the day with Harley and think he's great but Daniel tells Toni she is not allowed to see him anymore. When Harley finds out about Daniel's plans he is angry and smashes up Bob's bike. Daniel and Jennifer give into temptation and share a kiss.

Episode 96

Toni and Harley go against Daniel's wishes and continue to see each other. Elly, David and Claire create a diversion for Tom by performing a play for him. Megan breaks down when her dog goes missing; Elly and Martha are concerned for her welfare. Harley overhears Bob standing up for him when he gets slagged off in the pub. Harley is grateful and they make a fresh start. David catches Daniel and Jennifer sharing a kiss.

Episode 97

David tries to inject some morals into Jennifer but she won't listen. Daniel asks David what he intends to do, David says he should tell Elly but he can't, he doesn't want to hurt her. Daniel says nothing more will happen between he and Jennifer. Elly advises Chris to have Megan sectioned but he refuses. Daniel pressures Elly into taking time out from her work, she also feels he may want another child. They decide to take time out of their relationship.

Episode 98

Elly tells Bob that things don't feel right with Daniel; she thinks he wants her to give up her career. Elly and Bob realise it's going to take a special person for each of them to be with forever. Daniel and Jennifer continue their affair despite the fact they know it's wrong. Toni and Harley spend more time together. Ernie's Auntie Vi arrives and Chris accepts that Megan needs help.

Episode 99

Tom is admitted to hospital when it appears his cancer is back. Auntie Vi makes her presence known with Chris and Abby. Harley makes an effort and takes Toni out on a date - they share their first kiss. Chris takes advice from the doctors and has Megan sectioned. Alice begins to see Paul in a new light. The tragedy of Tom leads Daniel to go back to Elly. They decide to give things another go.

Episode 100

Abby and Vi continue to be at loggerheads. Vi doesn't think Abby is right for Ernie, but Abby makes a public speech announcing that she will be staying in Westside. Tom faces the fact that he may be dying. David tries to tell Martha that Daniel is having an affair but she doesn't believe him. Alice likes Paul and tries to explain her feelings to him. Toni and Harley go to the beach for the day, but disaster strikes when they fall asleep and don't wake up until morning.

Episode 101

Chris and Megan agree to work things out and get through everything together. Simon finds out about Toni and Harley's beach trip when he catches her arriving home in the morning. He promises not to tell on the condition that she his slave for a week. Abby and Vi begin to drag Lisa into their row. Tom's only chance of life is a clinic in Switzerland but the waiting list is long. Jennifer pulls strings and gets him at the top of the waiting list, meaning Elly, Claire and the Windsors are about to move to Switzerland.

Episode 102

Alice's night with Paul is a disaster, interruptions mean she doesn't get to declare her feelings. Elly is curious as to how Tom got into the clinic so quickly. Lisa decides to leave the pub and look for another job. Chris is shocked when Megan tells him she is pregnant. Daniel puts his foot down with Toni and Harley and demands Bob's help in stopping them from seeing each other. However Bob doesn't see the harm in Toni and Harley being together. The pressure again gets to Daniel and he goes to see Jennifer, leaving Elly and Toni to question his whereabouts.

Episode 103

Alice asks for Lisa's help in getting Paul alone, so Lisa asks Paul out on behalf of Alice. Paul accepts enthusiastically under the impression that he has a date with Lisa. Lisa relays Paul's great reaction to Alice, leading Alice to get her hopes up. Vi helps Harley scrub up into a suit and she also teaches him some good manners, however it gets him nowhere and Daniel shuts the door in his face. Elly finds out that Jennifer was the mystery behind Tom's clinic place. She asks Daniel where he was the night before and he tells her he was at home. However when Elly runs into Paul he comments that he saw Daniel's car outside Jennifer's house the night before. Elly goes to see Jennifer who confirms her suspicions that Daniel is having an affair.

Episode 104

Elly tells Martha about Daniel's affair, whilst Jennifer tells Daniel that Elly knows. For part of her school project Claire spends the day with George at the police station. Her duties include handcuffing George to the desk and talking to Inspectors on the phone! Bob can't believe Daniel and Jennifer have been having an affair and dismays Jennifer, he tells her how much this has hurt Elly. Jennifer thinks she and Daniel have a future but he tells her it's over between them. Alice plays Paul a song telling him how much she likes him. He tells her that he likes her only as a friend and thought the date was with Lisa and not with her. Toni and Harley split up but Harley cheers up when Bob presents him with the bike - sparkling and brand new. Daniel tries to make amends with Elly but she tells him they are finished for good.

Episode 105

Alice isn't speaking to Lisa because of what happened with Paul. Lisa tries to explain that it's not her fault. Jennifer finds she is not welcome in Westside after news of her and Daniel's affair spreads like wildfire. She decides to leave Westside and stay with her father. Abby and Vi have a cooking competition with Bob and Harley acting as judges - but they declare a draw! Chris and Megan spend some quality time together and he gives her his Mum's ring. Bob lends Elly some support, she tells him and Claire they are not going to Switzerland anymore. Jennifer writes Daniel a farewell letter which makes its way into Toni's hands.

Episode 106

Abby and Vi try to settle their differences over a game of cards. Vi is surprised that Abby knows a thing or two about card games. Lisa gets a new job and Alice starts talking to her again. They settle their differences and celebrate. Megan's mother arrives and causes havoc when she finds out the baby wasn't Chris'. She tells Megan to leave Chris and join she and her father in Europe. It's the day the Windsor's have to leave. Daniel tries once more with Elly but she is adamant they are finished. Toni also wants nothing to do with her father and decides to stay in Westside - Elly agrees she can live with her. As the Windsor's reach the check in gate Toni arrives on the back of Harley's back to say a last minute farewell. Daniel asks Harley to look after Toni and they shake hands.

Episode 107

Bob does his best to cheer up Elly but it seems the last thing she wants to do is talk. David arrives with tickets to a medical school event and persuades Elly to go with him. It appears that once again Bob has a rival for Elly's affections. Lisa leaves the pub and Alice is made manager. Chris makes a great sale but his happiness is shattered when he discovers the Bromley's have put his and Megan's house up for sale. Toni feels lost without her family and tells Harley she can't rush into things. They agree to be just friends.

Episode 108

David sets his sights on getting Elly back and goes to great lengths to impress her. Bob feels left out and begins to wonder where his life is going. He gets in his car and drives, remembering Jimmy as he goes. Claire is missing Tom, Harley helps Toni to cheer her up. Lisa arrives for her first day working at the local paper but gets sacked. It appears the paper is getting a new editor. George forgets Martha's birthday when Detective Harry Haddock tells him Lisa's brother Sonny Bennett is being released from prison.

Episode 109

Kim Talbot arrives as the new editor of the Westside Advocate. Lisa tries to convince Kim to take her on but Kim refuses. George tells Lisa that Sonny is on his way back to Westside. Lisa tells him she hopes Sonny can have a fresh start. David continues to buy Elly gifts in order to win her back. He also arranges for Claire and Toni to leave them alone for a while. Bob visits minister Jack Waterford, an old friend of Jimmy's. Bob tells Jack he thinks it's time for him to leave the church and Westside. Sonny arrives on Lisa's doorstep and makes an instant impression on Alice.

Episode 110

David organises a romantic night with Elly; chocolate, wine and her favourite video. However she sees through his plan and tells him to leave. She's upset he has tried to worm his way back in after what happened with Daniel. Harley is confused about his relationship with Toni. Sonny's arrival worries George especially when he begins to get close to Alice. Kim finally gives Lisa a job at The Advocate. Jack continues to talk to Bob. He tells him to give some of himself to others instead of just watching other people be happy. Through talking to Bob Jack realises that he is in love with Elly, he tells Bob to tell Elly he loves her.

The Reverend & the Doctor?

Ernie is experiencing pain in his abdomen, he asks Martha to take a look. Abby overhears the consultation and is convinced that Martha and Ernie are having an affair. Chris and Megan go on a camping trip but find themselves in danger when a snake crawls into Chris's sleeping bag. Bob arrives back in Westside a changed man. He tells Harley he's had a good chat with Jack and things really going to change. He goes to see Elly and they arrange dinner. Bob is all ready to tell Elly he loves her but she scuppers his plans by announcing that she is not interested in men at the moment. Sonny annoys Lisa by not reading one of her articles, things escalate into a row and Sonny screams that he can't read.

Episode 112

Ernie tells Abby that he has a hernia - he and Martha are not having an affair! Lisa and Sonny go to visit Marge in jail. Marge tells Lisa that whilst in prison Sonny has learned to hate - she can see it in his eyes. George tells Bob that Sonny is back in town, they wonder if they should be worried as Sonny threatened to get them both back for putting him in jail 5 years ago. Megan saves Chris from the snake when she hits it over the head with a frying pan! Bob tries once again to tell Elly he loves her but is interrupted by David. As Elly and David make up, Bob takes the hint that Elly isn't meant to know how he feels. Lisa and Alice start writing a serial for the advocate. Sonny meets Harley - the reverend's son.

Episode 113

Abby and Vi involve Vi's bird Jerome in their feud. Abby takes him from Vi's room and puts him on the balcony, Vi finds him there and takes him out of the cage - leading Abby to believe that he is gone. Sonny confides in Alice about his learning difficulties - he also gets closer to Harley. Everyone fusses around Ernie as he goes into hospital for his hernia operation. Elly get's Toni a date for the school prom with the hottest guy in school.

Episode 114

Toni gets dressed up for her date only to find that his looks do not compensate for his boring personality. Sonny robs the local Dehli at gunpoint and uses a naive Harley as the getaway car. It's the day of Chris and Megan's house auction and Paul buys the house. They are at first disappointed and betrayed, until Paul tells them he brought it so they can be his tenants. Elly once again turns David down. New Constable Max Simmons arrives at Westside police station.

Episode 115

Ernie takes advantage of Abby and Vi's bickering by pretending to be sicker than he is. They both run around after him trying to outdo each other. Max's time in Westside doesn't get off to a good start when he offends Martha and arrests David! However he does make a friend in Claire. Sonny tells Toni that Harley has been seeing her school friend Janine. Chris and Megan move back into their house whilst Lisa begins to feel left out with Alice and Sonny. Sonny tells Harley that they need some money; Harley unwittingly gets on the bike and mugs the first person he runs into - Auntie Vi. She is shaken and upset but doesn't know who attacked her. Paul sees Harley and Sonny in the bar with a huge lump of cash.

Episode 116

Harley and Sonny cover up the mugging but Bob, George and Paul question Harley. Max catches a man he believes to be the mugger but Vi won't identify him. Sonny entices Alice by kissing her. David decides he needs a relationship with a bimbo - he finds Leigh at the local aerobics session! Chris, Megan and their friend Pete Mulray decide to start up their own real estate business to compete with the Bromley's. Vi admits to Abby that she is scared after the mugging.

Episode 117

Elly and Bob are curious to meet Leigh and when David organises dinner it appears that Leigh likes Bob more than she likes David! David later tells Elly that he is going to propose to Leigh. Paul and Kim go on a date but Sonny arrives and ruin's a good evening. Chris. Megan and Pete score a deal with local businessman Damian Sharp to build a host of new properties. Sonny takes Toni, Alice and Harley on a car ride and nearly kills them when, high on speed, he nearly crashes into a wall.

Episode 118

Sonny and Harley leave Toni and Alice stranded when Toni refuses to get in a car with Sonny. Elly and Bob fall out over the situation when Elly says Harley should have looked after Toni. It appears that the new properties will be built over a duck pond. Claire and Toni try to gather support to stop it from happening. They find an alliance in Auntie Vi who, on Anzac Day, helps them starts a petition.

Episode 119

Harley gets a tattoo spelling out 'Toni'. She is disgusted as she doesn't like Tatoos! Whilst Lisa and Kim are working at the flat Sonny appears from the toilet with blood gushing from his nose. He has had a bad line of Cocaine and is overdosing. He is rushed to hospital and Lisa is devastated as she was sure he wasn't on drugs. The building work looks set to go ahead so the whole E Street gang gather on the site with banners and protest! However it turns sour when George arrives and threatens to arrest them all. A mass exodus ensues and George ends up in the duck pond whilst the rest of the gang are arrested!

Episode 120

The residents of E Street take hold of the police station! George tries is hardest to make them sign bail forms and leave, but under the following of Auntie Vi everyone seems quite happy to spend the night in the cell! Meanwhile Lisa is finding it hard to believe that Sonny is on drugs and even harder to bring herself to talk to him. David arrives at the police station and demands that Claire be released and returned to school. Slowly, one by one, they leave the police station happy that they've done their piece. But as Claire and Toni take a trip to see the duck pond they find all the ducks have been killed, and Chris is standing at the scene of the crime.

Episode 121

E Street learns that the ducks have died. Chris insists he had no involvement in what happened but it seems barely anyone believes him. He later finds out that Damian caused the ducks death. He and Megan then decide they don't want to do business with such a man and pull out of their deal. However Damian isn't off the hook when Elly and Martha secretly cover his car in water, flour and feathers! Alice and Sonny organise a birthday party at the rectory for Lisa. But when Alice's surprise stripper won't strip the rest of the gang have to strip down to their underwear! Back at the pub and Abby entertains the folk with some sensational singing whilst Sonny begins a fascination with Kim.

Episode 122

Sonny tells Lisa and Alice he is going bush for a while, in order to get clean and get a job. In reality he stays with Kim, who he has talked into helping him with his drug problem. Daniel calls with bad news about Tom; the treatment isn't working meaning his only hope is a bone marrow transplant. After Damian's departure Abby invests in Chris and Megan's business and they become 'Universal Real Estate'. Their new partnership causes some jealously for Auntie Vi. Max tries to involve himself with the community and David gets evicted from Jennifer's flat!

Episode 123

Toni decides she will try and provide a donor for Tom. George asks Bob is Max can stay at the rectory as he is not settled at the pub. Bob agrees and Max is very happy to be part of the family home! Sonny continues to con Kim into believing he is going cold turkey from drugs. His fake sweats and nightmares lure her into his trap and she lets him stay at her house without anyone knowing. Meanwhile Harley starts working for Sonny, transporting cars to and from places - not realising he is actually transporting drugs.

Episode 124

Toni takes the necessary tests in order to become Tom's donor. The pressure is on when Daniel calls to say neither Simon nor Sally were a match. Lisa is overjoyed when she reads in the papers that 'Undercover' are back in town are doing a gig locally. Harley almost gets caught transporting the drugs and Vi is running the pub whilst Abby works at 'Universal Real Estate'. Sonny continues to stay at Kim's and she has no idea how much of an effect she is having on him.

Episode 125

Megan and Abby have a heated confrontation when Abby throws her weight around at 'Univeral Real Estate'. Lisa gets ready to go and see Wheels. When she arrives at the venue she is heartbroken to hear Wheels has ditched 'Undercover' and gone on tour with Jo-Jo in Fiji. Toni's tests prove she is a positive match for Tom. Elly frantically tries to organise her a flight to Switzerland. Max is beginning to annoy Bob by hanging around the rectory all the time and breaking things! Ernie somehow gives half of Westside food poisoning with his food from the bistro. Meanwhile Paul and Kim have their first date, which is ruined by Sonny.

Episode 126

Lisa parts with her memories of Wheels, tearing up photos and letters and memories of him. Unbeknown to her Wheels has written her a letter, which Sonny has destroyed. Harley manages to get Toni on a flight to Switzerland by getting her a connecting flight instead of a direct one. Sonny overpowers Kim and tries to kiss her, she pushes him away bit he tries once more - in the end she hits him. Sonny goes back to Lisa and Alice whilst David and Paul become Kim's new housemates. Abby finds out that her visa has almost run out - she must marry Ernie or return to America.

Episode 127

Toni leaves for Switzerland without a farewell from Harley, who is doing more jobs for Sonny. The local soccer team 'The Kookas' need a new president. George and Ernie disagree about who should take the honour. Lisa writes a heartfelt letter to Wheels, fabricating the fact that she is loving life and has a new boyfriend. Sonny is still on Kim's case, Paul seems to make things worse when he interferes. Max introduces puppet Constable Care to Westside and Abby proposes to Ernie.

Episode 128

Ernie accepts Abby's proposal unaware of her visa situation. When Megan lets the visa story slip to Auntie Vi, she is determined to prove that Abby is just marrying Ernie to stay in Australia. The community fete takes place at the church. Max's Constable Care act doesn't impress until Claire helps him out with a funky dance routine! David is approached to go back to TV and Alice learns that something may be happening between Sonny and Kim. Sonny and Harley raid The Advocate, when Bob goes to help Kim clear up he finds Harley's Harley Davidson badge on the floor.

Episode 129

Bob turns to Elly for advice on what to do about Harley. Should he tell the police he found Harley's badge at the scene of the crime? David gets ready to go back to TV - but this time he'll be presenting a Rock programme! Elly finds out that Claire has a big crush on a boy. When Claire invites him to dinner, Elly is surprised to learn that it's Max! Elly tells Claire that she can't have Max as a boyfriend. Bob tells George and Paul about Harley, he is arrested and doesn't dob Sonny in. He is locked up in the cells and refuses Bob help of bail. When Ernie hears about Abby's visa he has his doubts about marrying her - leaving Abby to leave Westside.

Episode 130

Harley appears in court for the robbery of The Advocate, he is let off with a fine but wants nothing to do with Bob. David's new show is a disaster. Chris and Megan track down Abby and ask her to return. Ernie convinces Abby that he loves her and wants to marry her no matter what. Abby returns much to the disgust of Auntie Vi. Max explains to Claire that he can't be her boyfriend; they resolve to be good friends. Paul would like to see more of Kim and Sonny begins to plot revenge.

Episode 131

Paul and Kim share a kiss but it doesn't set the fires alight and they resolve to stay mates. Martha runs over Megan's dog patch, leaving them both devastated. Toni returns home and rows with Bob over dobbing Harley in to the police, Elly later explains to Toni that Bob had to do the right thing. Sonny gives Alice a crystal, which makes her once again fall for his charms. Claire begins to get upset over Elly and David's constant bickering. Sonny once again uses Harley as a getaway.

Episode 132

Sonny presents Harley with a car for all his hard work. Bob and Toni aren't sure that it's above board. Elly and David play happy families for Claire's sake. But their sickly sweet attitude towards each other soon annoys Claire who decides she prefers them rowing with each other. After all the coming and going Ernie tells Abby he can't marry her. As Sonny and Alice share a kiss Kim finds that all of her photos have been destroyed.

Episode 133

Sonny plans a weekend way with Alice and Harley. He tells them to load up Harley's new car and he'll meet them near the bridge. As Alice and Harley wait, the police arrive and search them and the car for drugs claiming they've had a tip off. The tip off has come from Sonny who has planted drugs in the van and in Alice's make up bag. Toni and her school friend Janine wag school and get dressed up to go into town. Whilst there they are chatted up by a guy - David! Ernie proposes to Abby - she says no!

Episode 134

Alice and Harley receive bail after being locked in the cells all night. Pretty soon Bob and George realise Sonny has set them up to get revenge on them. However Alice refuses to believe that Sonny would do that to her. Abby finally accepts Ernie's proposal! Lisa's dog Tipsy, who is staying with Kim, has puppies! Elly goes away to look after her sick mother, Bob tells Toni he wishes she were her for him.

Episode 135

Alice goes back to the flat and asks Sonny why he never turned up to meet she and Harley. Sonny denies they ever planned a trip and Alice finally sees he was behind the rugs arrest. David is upset to learn that no-one has remembered his birthday, he pretends to be sick and is under Elly's nose all day. Bob and George head to the coast to look for Nick, a guy who Sonny used to sell the cars to. Harley stays with Elly and they later surprise David with a birthday cake and presents. Paul and Max go through Sonny's file and Max realise that Sonny's motive for setting Alice and Harley up was to get revenge on Bob and George for sending him to jail all those years ago. Paul says Kim could also be in danger as Sonny has threatened her in the past. As they head to Kim's place they find Sonny has stripped her and made her swim lengths in the pool. As they shout for Sonny he holds a gun to Kim's head.

Episode 136

Paul and Kim tend to Max and wait for the ambulance to arrive, Max is ok - Sonny shot him in the arm. As news of the attack spreads Harley gets scared and decides to run, Elly tries to talk him out of it but he fleas. Paul tells Lisa she has to believe that Sonny is evil and breaks the news to her that he has attacked Kim and shot Max. Lisa calls Marge and Marge tells her she has to find Sonny before the police do. Lisa goes to their hiding place unaware that Paul is following her. Lisa tells Sonny to give himself up, when Paul arrives Sonny hits her as he think she has set him up. A fight follows between Paul and Sonny as Lisa goes to call Bob and George. They arrive just in time to break the pair up and George arrest Sonny. Lisa goes to see Alice and apologises for Sonny. Bob returns home to find Elly waiting for him - she tells him Harley has gone.

Episode 137

Bob is worried about Harley. Today is the day of his and Alice's bail hearing and he is no-where to be seen. Lisa finds it hard to accept what Sonny has done. As much as she can't condone what he did, she finds it hard to forgive Paul for tracking Sonny done and trying to kill him. Paul admits he acted like a vigilante and decides to quit the force. At the last minute Harley turns up and he is able to report for bail. He and Alice worry about a jail sentence, Sonny may be caught but he still hasn't confessed to setting them up. Sonny's druggie mate Nick arrives at the hospital where Sonny is being treated and injects Sonny with a lethal drug.

Episode 138

Max catches Nick coming out of Sonny's room and realises he is not a doctor. He hits Nick hurting his wounded arm further! Nick is caught and put in the cells, George allows Bob to spend some time with him. Bob breaks Nick into confessing that Sonny set Alice and Harley up on the drugs charge. The residents celebrate Alice and Harley's innocence with a party, during which Abby hands out her wedding invitations. Toni tells Harley she loves him and would stand by him no matter what. Lisa finds it hard to celebrate when Sonny is about to face jail.

Episode 139

Alice pays Sonny a visit. He is now in the cells and his attitude tells Alice that he is ready to end his life. Alice relays this to Lisa but she is reluctant to see him. Toni and Harley decide to go on a date to celebrate their new found relationship, however when Toni gets a pimple the date is of! Judith Rawlings starts work at Universal Real Estate to allow Megan to prepare for the imminent birth. Lisa makes up with Paul and goes to see Sonny. Sonny tries to end his life but fails.

Episode 140

Toni's pimple goes and she and Harley go on their date. They go to a posh restaurant and cause havoc when they ask for chips and coke! Elly and Bob also have dinner but their plans are interrupted by half of Westside asking them for advice. Max asks Alice on a date - she is not keen and dresses up seductively to try and turn him off. Sonny leaves for Newbridge, where he will stay until his trial. Lisa says goodbye to him and tells him to be strong. The local lads try out for The Kookas new season team. David is desperate to make the team but loses out on a place when George and Vi think Bob would be a better player.

Episode 141

The Kookas start their training as David watches from the sidelines. Claire is full of enthusiasm for David's newfound football career, unaware that he hasn't made the team. Elly tells David he must tell Claire he won't be playing. Max surprises everyone by scoring a field goal during training - Auntie Vi is eager to know when he gets his cast of! Alice begins work on a 'Smile File' for The Advocate - snapping the happy folk of Westside! Advocate's chief Sir Angus Sturgess sends his Son Michael to cover Kim's absence. Kim, meanwhile, is bored at home and isn't sure which direction to take next. Max convinces everyone that Alice is a sex maniac - a label she takes non-to kindly to! It appears that Judith is working for Megan's father and is desperate to bring Universal Real Estate to its knees.

Episode 142

Toni and Harley go to great lengths to hide their matching love bites. Elly organises a locum so that she can spend some time with Claire, but when Claire goes out with her friend Elly spends the day with Bob. They discuss their friendship and share a mutual thanks for always being there for each other. They talk about their first kiss on the fishing trip and Elly asks Bob if he ever regretted it. He tells he didn't and they kiss again. They are interrupted by Claire who tells them about Toni and Harley's love bites. They give Toni and Harley a lecture on safe sex. Lisa tells Michael that is the story goes ahead then she'll quit. Lisa and Alice come up with a plan to prove Chris's innocence. Alice follows Judith and realises she is working for Megan's father, she cons Judith into thinking that she herself would like to bring someone down and asks for proof of her work.

Episode 143

Alice's 'Smile File' hits the press with a picture of Toni and Harley on the front page! Toni is not impressed as it is of them kissing. It's the day of the enquiry into Max's shooting. George, Paul, Kim and Max are there to give evidence. Max is unsure whether Paul froze or not, George yells him to just tell the facts and to remember that Paul's career is on the line. Max sticks top the cats but Paul tells the court that he did freeze and that it was because of Rhonda. Elly and Bob have lunch, he asks her to join him at the Parish Council Dinner. She gratefully accepts. Lisa and Michael seem to have a mutual attraction and they share a kiss. The Kookas match goes ahead with Ernie, Abby and Vi staying at the pub whilst Alice runs back and forth reporting the score! Toni seeks advice from Alice and Janine about sleeping with Harley.

Episode 144

Lisa and Michael skip work at the office to sail around the harbour on Michael's yacht. Sir Angus is angry when he finds out and says they should keep their relationship private and professional. David gets a hero's welcome at the pub and can't stop talking about his winning try. Elly tells Bob to talk to Harley about the birds and the bees! She is not happy that Toni plans to sleep with Harley. Paul decides he is going to study Law. He and Kim find an abandoned dog on the harbour - they call him Corrie. Toni is furious that Elly has discusses she and Harley with Bob, she says she'll never trust her again. Alice and Megan start organising Abby's hen night. George lets Martha down when she plans a romantic night in. Bob feels Elly's attitude to sex is old fashioned. She takes it the wrong way when he says they should be honest and open with the kids about sex.

Episode 145

Toni apologises to Elly for involving she and Bob in her problems. Elly and Toni talk and Elly assures Toni that she'll know when the time is right for she and Harley. Kim buys a boat and Paul helps her to fix it up. Ernie organises for Abby's brother Noah to fly from America to Australia for the wedding. He and Abby haven't spoken for a long time and he stays with Martha and George. Megan feels a contraction and Chris panics and involves the whole of Westside in trying to get Megan to hospital - but Elly tells them it's a false alarm. Toni tells Harley that she is ready to sleep with him. She says it feels right. They plan to spend the night together whilst everyone else is at the hen and stag parties. The lads dress up in 70's gear for Ernie's stag night. However the entertainment goes to pot when all of them cancel their booked strippers and Alice swaps their blue movie for a wildlife documentary.

Episode 146

Ernie wakes up 8 hours away from Westside. He gets off the bus and looks for a way back home. He calls Vi and tells her to tell Abby not to worry - he'll be at the wedding. Vi doesn't pass the message on sending George and Chris into a panic when they can't find Ernie. Vi tells them he is probably already on the boat, so they all head to the wedding venue leaving Ernie stranded. Harley tells Bob he and Toni are finished. Martha tells Abby she made a mistake in misjudging her when she first arrived in E Street. She gives her an old family treasure as part of the 'Something Old'. Max and Kim don't go to the wedding. Abby is overwhelmed by Noah's arrival and is happy to see him, but her mood changes when George tells her Ernie isn't on the boat. Ernie manages to hitch a ride and gets back to the pub to change. He makes it on the boat and he and Abby marry.

Episode 147

Claire goes to stay with David's parents, Elly tells him she doesn't want them to spoil Claire like they usually do. He is offended and moans to Paul about Elly. Alice decides she is going to buy a car. Bob books a restaurant to make up with Elly. He can't get through to her as her phone is engaged so he gets Max to deliver a note to her. Elly is not home so Max leaves the note for 'Dr Fielding' at the hospital. Ernie and Abby's honeymoon gets off to a good start when Ernie installs a Jacuzzi in their bedroom! But when Vi accidentally shuts the door on the water pipe there is a flood. A picture of Lisa and Michael at the wedding is published in The Advocate. Sir Angus sees it and summons them to his house. He insults Lisa and she is angry when she finds out Michael set up the picture - she tells him not to use her in the battle with his father. George cancels a night out with Martha to help Alice finds a car.

Episode 148

Bob and David have dinner together despite the mix up. Later, a drunken David arrives at Elly's house with Bob in tow. Bob explains what happened and Elly says he should have just asked her out face to face. Bob apologises for the row and they become friends again. Elly tells Bob she's missed having him around. Kim escapes with minor burns to her hands. She can't do much leading Paul to rally the troops to work on her boat. George lets Martha down again when he has to go on a course. Noah looks after her and treats her to a cooked meal. They share a kiss. Michael tells Lisa he is quitting The Advocate and leaving town.

Episode 149

Betty Kendrick arrives. She tells Harley that she would like him to take over the running of the farm, as Mr. Kendrick can no longer manage. Bob is sad that he may lose Harley but tells him he won't hold him back or try to sway his decision. Elly is not happy about David's parents wanting to take Claire to Disneyland. She tells David that it is unfair that she is left to discipline Claire whilst he gets to treat her. Elly later tells Claire that she can't do to Disneyland. Tom Windsor calls from Switzerland and announces that he is coming to stay for a few days. Lisa, Alice and Toni become 'The Patchettes' - the cheer squad for The Kookas. Alice shows off her newly decorated car - Samantha!

Episode 150

Elly tells Betty how much Harley has become a part of Westside, and how much he means to Bob, herself, Claire and Toni. Betty tells Elly that Harley has made up his own mind and will join her and Mr Kendrick at the farm. However Harley tells Bob that he has decided to stay in Westside as it has taken him a long time to find Bob and he's not going to let him go again. Tom visits Westside with news of Daniel's new girlfriend. As Noah pushes Martha for an answer, George tells her that things between them are going to change. Martha tells Noah that she can't throw away what she and George have because she does love him. Noah goes back to America leaving Martha alone. Abby realises that something has been going on and she talks to Martha.

Episode 151

Martha calls in sick and tells Elly that George hasn't been home all night. She begins to get worried when Max tells her he hasn't turned up for work. Alice and Max notice that Chris and Megan's business partner Pete Mulray is being a bit heavy handed with his kids. Harley discovers that changing his surname is a huge process, he decides to change it himself and is now known as Harley Brown! Claire leaves for Disneyland leaving Elly distraught! She agrees to have dinner with David, but she, Lisa and Kim find themselves tired of David's pigheadedness and Elly vows to bring him down a peg or two. Toni pays Harley a visit but they fail to be civil to one another. Tom shows Bob the book her wrote whilst he was battling cancer. Bob gives it to Kim for an opinion.

Episode 152

George promises Martha romance and she gets it! A horse drawn carriage takes her to work and a romantic lunch dinner is delivered to the surgery! Tom spends the day at The Advocate with Lisa and Kim. Paul suspects that Pete and Felicity are having domestic problems. His suspicions are confirmed when Tess runs to him and tells him her Mum has been hurt. Elly begins her plan to bring David down and asks for Ernie's help. Ernie is more than willing and they take an x-ray of Ernie whilst he has a needle taped to his back. David is worried when he finds Ernie is pain. Toni is upset to find that Harley and Janine are going out. She argues with Janie and Janine calls her 'a professional virgin'. Toni dresses up seductively to woo Harley but things don't go to plan when he laughs at her.

Episode 153

Paul tells George about Felicity, George says he will talk to her. However she tells George to leave her alone. Harley tells Bob that his car was stolen last night. Elly and Ernie panic when David schedules emergency surgery to remove the needle. They confess all to David who says Elly must tells the truth to the hospital administrator, nicknamed 'The Terminator'. Toni visits Harley and says she knows he is only seeing Janine to make her jealous. He tells her that isn't true and says that he actually likes Janine. So Toni asks Max out on a date and he accepts! Lisa and Alice go on a picnic and bump into a hitchhiker - they fail to give him a lift when Samantha won't start. Then, as they are getting ready for the Kookas match they hear that a hitchhiker has been trying to attack women.

Episode 154

Paul tells George he wants to rejoin the force. George tells him he can rejoin but the powers that be have said he has to start from scratch and start back at Newbridge. David asks Bob if he can have the church hall for a party he is organising for Tom's friends on the cancer ward. Felicity stays at the rectory whilst Pete seeks help from Chris. Megan finds it hard to be a friend to Pete after what he has done to Felicity. Felicity later goes to stay with her sister. Toni tells Max she wants to go out with him but only as friends. Lisa and Kim type up Tom's book in time for the party. Ernie teases Abby and Vi when he finds they have a fear of cockroaches. They pay him back by shutting him in the cellar an exposing him to his fear of the dark. However their plan backfires when they all end up locked in the cellar overnight. Harley takes Janine to the party whilst Toni goes with Max.

Episode 155

Alice arrives at the pub and rescues Ernie, Abby & Vi from the cellar. As Tom prepares to go back to Switzerland, Elly begins to fear that Toni may go too. Bob tells Harley that Toni might leave Westside, leading Harley to do some serious thinking. He starts working at The Advocate and confesses to Kim that it was Sonny who trashed the offices and not him. Vi goes to The Royal pub to see how the Kooka's opposition is shaping up. Alice gives Max some tips on how to hold on to Toni, she tells him he should be sensitive. Elly finds a note in Claire's schoolbag from the school. Claire has volunteered Elly to deliver a talk on Healthy Eating to the school committee. The Kooka's final takes place and the E Streeters rally round to give support.

Episode 156

With help from Auntie Vi and David, Megan has a healthy baby girl in the Kooka's dressing room. Max is released from hospital; he is fine bar some bruising! Elly tries her best to get out of the talk as she has a fear of public speaking. She asks David to do it for her but he refuses. Bob tells her she needs a distraction and they visit Chris and Megan's baby in hospital. Elly gets broody but says her child rearing days are over, Bob tells her that she never knows what the future may hold. Lisa and Kim play at wild stories for the paper. They make a mock cover announcing that Elvis has been seen in Patchetts Pacific. As they leave the office their deputy sends the mock edition to the printers. Chris and Megan call the baby Rachel Violet, dedicating her middle name to Auntie Vi.

Episode 157

Harley challenges George to organise a fight between he and Max. George persuades Max to go up against Harley on behalf of the force. They make Toni the prize. Vi agrees to train Harley so Bob agrees to train Max. Elly feels the effects of her heavy drinking from the night before. She tells Bob how humiliated she felt. Her day worsens as her patients begin to cancel their appointments. She goes to the school to apologise to the headmistress but when she returns she receives a letter summoning her to the medical board on a charge of professional misconduct. Patchetts Pacific and The Advocate hit crisis when the Elvis story hits the press.

Episode 158

Paul and Kim wake up together and hide the fact from David. Pete goes to Felicity's sister's house and tries to drag Felicity out of the house. George and Paul arrive and take Pete to the station. Ray says he will not sew Ernie, on the condition that Alice can do to The Royal what Elvis has done for Patchetts. So with Abby's help, Alice holds another seance and this time brings Marylyn Monroe to life. Ray is fooled and promises not to sew Ernie as long as her looks after Alice. Elly and Bob begin to council Pete and Felicity, leaving Elly no time to prepare a case for her hearing with the medical board. When she and David go to the medical board. Elly hears that as well as the misconduct charge there is another charge she has to answer to. It appears that the prank she and Ernie played on David is also on the agenda.

Episode 159

Claire returns home full of Disneyland stories. Toni decides to make a choice in order to stop the fight but elsewhere Harley and Max raise the stakes and agree that the loser will walk away from Toni. Toni sees Harley and tells him that she loves him. Harley says he will call off the fight if Max does. Claire overhears and tells Max that Toni really loves Harley. David hypnotises Elly in the hope of curing her public speaking problem. Whilst she is under his spell he tells her she will have a growing attraction to whoever says the word 'Bimbo' to her. Kim changes the name of her boat. Paul insists that this is bad luck. Alice cons Ernie into letting her have the day off by telling him she's sick. She joins Lisa, Paul and Kim on the boat trip.

Episode 160

David camps outside Elly's bedroom, in fear that if he lives her side she may take things further with Bob. He tells her he must perform the hypnosis again but Elly is more interested in making a date with Bob. Alice begs Ernie for her job back but he refuses. Abby and Vi go on strike in her honour. Elly and Bob have a daytime date and immediately begin kissing. Bob is confused at Elly's change of heart and asks her what has happened. She is startled and realises that David has done something during the hypnosis. She asks David to redo the hypnosis but this time she remains awake. She hears David tell her that 'Bimbo' will trigger feelings for him - not Bob. Max knocks Harley out and wins, however Max knows that Toni's heart lies with Harley and he grants them his blessing. Lisa gets a courts order to testify at Sonny's trial.

Episode 161

Martha and George are thrown into chaos when Heather doesn't return from her shopping trip. Nikki and Zac seem unfazed, making it clear that their mother often disappears for periods of time. The strike at the pub continues with Lisa, Alice, Abby & Vi giving Ernie complicated breakfast orders and unknown cocktail demands. Elly apologises to Bob for the 'Bimbo' incident. He tells her it was a pleasant surprise. Toni and Harley feel bad about how they have treated Max. They arrange a double date with Toni's geeky friend Penelope. However Penelope is not as quiet as she seems and Max is horrified when she comes onto him. Toni apologises to Max and tells him that she really did like him. They agree to stay good mates, along with Harley.

Episode 162

After spending the night at the pub, Chris returns home. Megan is furious that he left her to cope alone with Rachel and she chucks him out. Bob, Toni and Harley pay a visit to Harley's adopted parents the Kendricks. Harley tells them that he would like to take Bob's surname. Martha receives a parcel containing Nikki and Zac's birth certificates, passports and other documents. She tells Elly that she thinks Heather has left the children. David helps Ernie and Abby cater for the critic. They serve up great cuisine to everyone who looks smart enough to be a critic. Whilst Lisa is served up bangers and mash by Auntie Vi! Kim tries her hardest to be Paul's friends. Martha and George tell Nikki and Zac that Heather has sent their things and has terminated the contract on their house. She has left them.

Elly tells Martha she fears that Bob will end up resenting her for giving up something that he loves. Westside gathers to listen to Bob's final sermon and David takes Elly and Claire to hear what Bob has to say. Bob announces her is leaving the church to marry the woman he loves.

Mary tells Alice that Adam plans to take his play to New York. Alice is devastated, as Adam hasn’t told her. Max begins to take control of his life, not allowing himself to be taken for granted or bossed around. He asks George if he should resign from the police force, George says no as there is no proof that he even has AIDS yet. The Homeboys win a match; Sheridan celebrates, making it clear that she does enjoy coaching the team. Virginia tells Bob she has had a phone call from Elly. She and David are going to work in Bangladesh whilst Claire is to stay with Elly’s parents. Virginia tells Bob it’s time to face the facts; Elly isn’t coming home. Nikki finds out about Max’s health scare and she tells him she will be there for him if he needs her.

Episode 230

Nikki spends time with Max. They talk about life and death and she tells him he should follow his dreams as you never know what’s around the corner. Virginia tells George they have to find the syringe that Laurel stabbed Max with fast ‘ in order to help tests. Martha joins in the search and she and George do a door to door search in Westside. Adam asks Alice to join him in New York and she says yes. They hold a special party which is ruined when Sonia, Adam’s wife arrives. Lisa, Michael and Toni find Debbie, a woman who claims Sheridan has blackmailed the local Mayor to gain ownership of the pub’s land. Lisa tackles Debbie on air when she begins to change her story but they fail and Sheridan takes over by interviewing the Mayor. Lisa is impressed by Michael’s integrity and asks him to marry her.

Episode 231

Lisa and Michael arrive at the party and announce their engagement. Max leaves the party early and tells George he feels alone. George tells him that although he doesn’t blood relatives here, he and Martha are his family in Westside. Mary tells Sheridan that if she knocks down the pub then she will be even more unpopular than she already is. Virginia receives a letter from Claire. She asks her to send ‘all her love to Reverend Bob’. Virginia passes on Claire’s wishes and Bob tells her that he has been praying for Elly’s safety in Bangladesh. Alice leaves Adam after she sees him with Sonja and the children. Michael presents Lisa with a ring to make their engagement official. Max and Nikki visit Max’s Dad. It's not a happy reunion as it is clear Max’s Dad is still the thug he used to be.

Episode 232

With the wedding 3 weeks; Lisa and Alice make a start on the wedding plans, until Adam arrives and announces he is leaving his wife for Alice. Alice spends time with Oscar and Charlotte; Adam’s children but Oscar doesn’t take too kindly to his father having a girlfriend. Alice realises she can never fully be a part of Adam’s life and tells him she won’t be joining him in New York. Max spends more time with his father. Nikki and CJ do their best to help save Patchetts from being knocked down. But it’s Mary who comes to the rescue when she stops the auction under instruction from Ernie!!

Episode 233

Toni’s day at work doesn’t go according to plan when she happens to wear the same outfit as Sheridan. The needle ends up in a bin, Martha misses it as she strolls past. Harley tries to quit his cocaine habit but fails miserably when Fiona again seduces him. They make their way to Harley’s room at the rectory where they indulge in the drug. Bob walks in and finds them taking the drug and can only watch as Harley walks out in a daze. Max continues to be failed by his father and has to break up a fight between his Dad and another man. Nikki tells Toni about Max’s problem and swears her to secrecy. Harley and Fiona drive to pick up Fiona’s friend Nadia ‘ they continue to take cocaine until Harley passes out. He has a mini seizure and collapses, leading Fiona to believe he is dead.

Episode 234

Harley is rushed to hospital as Fiona is arrested. Bob and Sheridan are informed of the news and Sheridan tells Bob it’s his fault for being such a terrible Dad. Max tells his father he may have HIV. Toni and Nikki continue their search for the needle. They eventually find it and the tests on the needle begin. Lisa and Michael discover each other has booked a honeymoon. They struggle to decide whether they should take Michael’s camping trip or Lisa’s exotic hideaway. Harley’s chances of survival look slim as he lies in a coma and Bob must start thinking about Harley’s future and whether he has one. As Bob returns to the hospital he finds Sheridan at Harley’s side.

Episode 235

Alice starts work on Lisa’s wedding dress. However when her creations are a little too wacky for Lisa; she presents Lisa with the dress she really wanted from the bridal shop. Jack tells Bob not to give up hope for Harley. Bob breaks the news to Toni who visits Harley and talks to him, as he lies asleep. Max anxiously awaits his test results, he should know in 24 hours whether or not he has HIV. Claire gets off a bus in the country. She has run away from her grandparents and is on her way back to Westside! Whilst queuing for the next bus a man approaches her on a bike - none other than Wheels! Virginia tells Bob there is little chance of Harley recovering and advises him too turn off Harley’s life support machine. Bob decides the decision should lie in God’s hand and says his goodbyes to Harley. As he switches off the machine - the monitor buzzes and Virginia announces that Harley is breathing for himself.

Episode 236

Claire explains to Wheels what happened with Elly and Bob. She tells him she misses them both and as she can’t be with Elly in Bangladesh wants to be back in Westside with her friends. She asks him what happened with Jo-Jo and the band but he tells he is not with the band anymore. After a lot of persuasion Wheels says he’ll take her back to Westside. Max’s tests come back clear ‘ he hasn’t got HIV, the blood in the needle blood was animal blood. He thanks Nikki for her support and they go out officially for the first time. Toni informs Lisa, Alice and Michael of Harley’s condition ‘ she also announces that Harley needs treatment in America that will cost $100,000. Lisa and Michael quickly get to work at WTV8 and organise a telethon in honour of Harley. The residents of E Street join in. Bob thanks Sheridan for what she has done and she says it’s because Harley is her only friend. Bob and Toni say their farewells as Harley is taken in an ambulance and flown to New York - to recover.

Episode 237

Toni and Alice set to work on turning Lisa into a beautiful bride. Disaster strikes when the highlights they use on her hair turn it purple, and the bleach they use to remove the purple leave Lisa with a blotchy red rash! Lisa is distraught and tells Toni and Alice that the wedding is off! Claire arrives at the rectory and surprises Bob and Martha. They are thrilled to see her and she tells them that her grandparents said she could come to Westside for a holiday. However Bob and Martha are not convinced that they would let her travel alone and they call Elly’s parents. Bob tells Martha he is happy to have Claire home but wishes Elly were here too. Max manages to lose the wedding cake and he Nikki, Zac and CJ set about making a new one ‘ with disastrous results. As Lisa’s hair and face begin to heal she feels happier about the wedding. She then answers the door to find Wheels on the doorstep. They talk and he is surprised to hear she is getting married.

Episode 238

It’s the day of Lisa and Michael’s wedding. Lisa leaves the flat early and goes to find Wheels. They return to the site of their squat but all that remains is the bath tub. They discuss old times and Lisa tells Wheels what happened to Sonny. Lisa tells Wheels that she has always been in love with him and they share a kiss. Claire asks Bob if he still loves Elly. He tells he does and she says it’s almost like it was before she and Elly left Westside. Alice takes a pregnancy test and has a smile on her face as she reads the result. As everyone gathers at the church, Alice arrives ad tells George that Lisa is missing. After waiting for a long time Wheels enters the church on his motorbike with Lisa on the bike dressed in her wedding own. She meets Michael at the altar and tells him she’s sorry, she just needed to talk. Michele takes her hand and the two are married whilst Wheels watches from a distance.

Episode 239

New policewoman Ruth arrives in Westside and makes a bad impression when she gives Toni a ticket and manages to smash Wheels bike light. Ruth later arrests Wheels but faces opposition from all of Westside and George,, when he tells her to quit being nasty for no reason. Wheel’s friend Joey Valentine shows up in Westside. He is an old school friend and uses his guitar as a form of communication as he stopped speaking when he was 15. Claire begins her plan to stay in Westside on a permanent basis and asks Bob to phone Elly to see is she can stay. Alice tells Martha she is pregnant, Martha fears for Georges reaction!

Episode 240

Toni tries to do a story on Joey for the 5.30 report. Lisa and Michael return from their short weekend break and are overjoyed when Alice tells them she’s pregnant. Claire runs away and leaves Bob a note saying that she feels no-one wants her. Bob finds her and he promises he will try and sort something out for her. Toni and Joey begin to bond. Alice tells George she is pregnant.

Episode 241

George suggests to Alice that she should have an abortion. Claire and Zac start cleaning dogs to get some money. Toni gets Joey a job at the pub and tries to change his appearance. Lisa tells Michael she wants a baby.

Episode 242

Lisa and Michael start trying for a baby. Max, Nikki and Zac start looking for the dogs that Claire and Zac lost. Elly’s Dad calls Bob and tells him that they are coming to collect Claire. Claire is upset and tells Martha that it’s not her fault that Elly and Bob didn’t get married and yet she is paying by having to leave her home. Martha calls Elly in Bangladesh and asks if Claire can stay in Westside. Elly says Claire can’t stay as she no longer trusts Bob to put Claire first above any new ‘obsession’ that may arise. Claire runs off whilst Bob tells Martha he hoped that having Claire home would bring Elly back. Wheels finds Claire and tells her that no matter what her friends in Westside will always be here for her. Toni’s story on Joey airs. Wheels explains to Toni that Joey likes leading his life the way he does and doesn’t need her hand outs. Claire tells Bob she will miss him. He tells Claire he is sorry for hurting her and Elly and says he still loves Elly.

Episode 243

Virginia returns home from New York. Toni and Joey are having trouble getting on. Alice receives a letter from Adam. Michael takes Lisa and Wheels out to dinner, but Lisa tells Wheels to go. Elly’s Dad arrives to collect Claire, Virginia says Claire can stay with her ‘ that way she is still in Westside but not staying with Bob. Max and Nikki share a kiss.

Episode 244

Joey begins to give Toni guitar lessons and she is in awe of his talent. Claire moves back into her old house. Max and Nikki officially become an item much to the surprise of George, who thinks Nikki must be on drugs! Lisa and Wheels finally talk and she admits she is still in love with him. They decide the only way around the situation is to stop seeing each other. Joey smashes Toni a guitar but later apologises.

Episode 245

Sheridan arrives back in Westside and takes an immediate liking to Wheels. However. keen to not let him know who she is she tells him her name is Debbie. She tells Wheels she works for a woman called Sheridan Sturgess and could get him a job. Wheels is keen until he finds out who she really is. Toni’s band Kon-X-Ion does a gig at the pub. Claire meets Queenie, and old lady who is unwell. Queenie tells Claire that he daughter Rosie died a long time ago. Lisa tells Alice she is still in love with Wheels.

Episode 246

Queenie is taken to hospital. Claire finds out that Rosie isn’t really dead; she and Queenie had a row that has stopped them from talking. Claire asks Virginia to help her find Rosie but Virginia refuses. Claire tells her they should reunite them as they know what it’s like to be separated from those they love. They track down Rosie and she and Queenie are reunited. Toni and CJ take their demo tape to Joey. He gives it a revamp and turns their song into a pop track. Alice tells Wheels he has to tell Lisa it is over between them before she ruins her marriage. Wheels does so causing Lisa to turn to the bottle. When Michael returns home and finds Lisa upset over losing Wheels he walks out on her.

Episode 247

Lisa sees Wheels and Sheridan together at the pub, she drunkenly lashes out at Sheridan and Michael has to take her home. Michael asks Bob for advice on Lisa, Bob tells her not to do what he did to Elly if he loves Lisa then he has to fight for her. CJ takes control of Kon-X-Ion and together with Joey they start working on a music video, during which Toni and Joey share a kiss. George celebrates his 55th birthday at the pub, he tells Martha he is starting to feel old. Lisa tells Michael that she still loves Wheels. He asks her to choose between them. Claire wants to introduce Virginia to her karate teacher. Lisa goes to Wheels place and tells him to make love to her.

Episode 248

Wheels tells Lisa to leave, he tells her he’s not in love with her anymore. Lisa is upset but tells Michael she loves him and wants to make their marriage work. Virginia meets Claire’s karate teacher Steven Richardson. She invites him around for dinner and they appear to hit it off straight away. CJ tries to get the band a recording contract. Lisa apologises to Wheels for her behaviour and thanks him for not taking advantage of her. She tells him she was in love with what they were but really wants to make her marriage work. She asks him if he meant it when he said he didn’t love her. He tells her he’ll always love her ‘ just not in the way he used to. Lisa and Michael arrive home and tell Alice the fighting is over. They witness a very special moment when Alice’s baby kicks for the first time.

Episode 249

After camping outside the record company’s office, CJ finally gets in dressed as a cleaner. He plays the bands songs to the record producers and the producers say they would like to meet the band. Martha is upset when George seems to be spending so much time playing bowls. She wonders if he is having an affair. Virginia and Steven have dinner together and end the evening with a kiss.

Episode 250

Martha is certain that George is having an affair. She gets dressed up and heads to the bowling field where she is keen to outdo the ladies vying for George’s attention. She later tells George that she is hurt that he has found his second wind in life and hasn’t found it with her. When Nikki explains to George that Martha feels unwanted, George tells Martha he loves her very much and was scared of losing her as he got older. Virginia is envious when Steven seems to be paying attention to Sheridan, however when Steven comes round for dinner she lets him stay the night. She is later woken by a phone call and is joined by Claire and Toni who want to know what the fuss is about. Virginia says Elly is on the phone - she’s coming home.

Jamie is unaware of his new flatmate's true identity. Lisa worries about losing her friends. Sheridan and Wheels give in to passion.

Alice and Lisa's friendship may be over. The girls organise a Mr E Street contest. Steven terrifies a girl he picks up in the pub, while Sheridan has visions of him murdering again.

Episode 280

Who will become the first ever Mr E Street? The guys play dirty to take the crown. Sheridan consults a psychic in her bid to defeat her nightmares. Mr Bad strikes again.

Episode 281

A body is found, and Sheridan tries to reach out to Steven psychically to track him down. Nikki is missing her family. Toni unwittingly puts herself in terrible danger.

Episode 282

A terrified Toni tries to reason with Steven, while news of her abduction spreads. Roy Harrison is murdered, and Wheels decides to get a gun. Nikki makes a big decision about her future.

Episode 283

Sheridan and Wheels visit Steven's mum's house, unaware he is hiding inside. Toni and CJ share a kiss. Alice gets a business proposal. Sheridan goes on TV to warn the world about Steven.

Episode 284

George reprimands Sheridan for the television broadcast and tells her she is inviting Steven to come and get her. Toni and CJ try to talk about their kiss but Max and Albie insist staying up all night and watching music videos to help Max get over missing Nikki. Toni and Alice take the clothes Alice made to the shop. Whilst there they run into Alice's friend Penny O'Brien. Penny is in the fashion business and she and Alice knew each other before Alice cam to Westside. Whilst Wheels and Sheridan are asleep Steven knocks over a bottle in the attic. Wheels hears the noise and goes upstairs to investigate. He finds the food that Steven has been eating but sees no sign of Steven. As he comes back down the stairs Steven runs behind him and knocks him out. He then goes into Sheridan's room and pins her to the bed. He tells her if she screams he will kill her.

Episode 285

Sheridan is unharmed, and Steven brags about his crimes on Dr Rock's radio show. Bob blames himself for not realising Steven's true nature, and comes face-to-face with him in the church.

Episode 286

Steven breaks down as he confides in Bob, and later threatens Sheridan on the radio. Lisa, Toni, Alice and Penny have to pull an all-nighter. Sheridan collapses after another psychic battle with Steven.

Episode 287

Lisa decides to leave Westside, but faces a terrifying ordeal when her taxi driver turns out to be Steven. Jojo worries that Valentine is in love with her.

Episode 288

Lisa tries to escape from the freezer. Wheels and Sheridan confront Steven and shots are fired. Jojo's plan for a romantic night with Valentine goes awry. Sheridan realises Steven has kidnapped Lisa.

Episode 289

A desperate hunt begins to find and free Lisa from Steven's clutches, but time is running out. George and Max find a little girl wandering around the streets, who turns out to be Penny's daughter.

Episode 290

Sheridan has a long-awaited confrontation with Steven, but can she bring herself to press the trigger and end her ordeal once and for all? Lisa and Alice bid farewell to Westside.

Episode 291

Sheridan is arrested after the shooting as Steven is rushed to hospital. Dr Rock arranges a protest. Jojo's mum is coming to town. Martha gets bad news about her job.

Episode 292

Wheels breaks Sheridan out of jail; they finally declare their love for each other and go on the run. Martha finds a new job. Jojo doesn't want her mother around.

Episode 293

Jamie and Constable Sam Farrell are caught up in a petrol station robbery. Wheels and Sheridan settle into life as fugitives. Jojo and Annie argue. Penny makes a blunder.

Episode 294

George arrests Dr Rock, and the residents are stunned at his true identity. Jojo and Annie try to resolve their differences. Ed Farrell vows to catch Wheels and Sheridan, dead or alive.

Episode 295

Jamie has an important job interview. George is worried about Wheels and Sheridan and presses Valentine to help find them. Ed won't give George and Sam a break. Penny proposes to someone. Sam's fiancé turns up. As The fugitives enjoy themselves Jo Jo and Valentine turn up to warn them that Ed is closing in.

Episode 296

Max and George continue to stress about Ed's behavior. Jamie panics about the proposal. Sam learns that the man he shot at the service station hold-up has died. Penny and Jamie pretend to be married. Amy tries to talk to Sam. Ed threatens Valentine and a fight breaks out. Martha attempts to get her job back. Sam tells his father that he knows the gun was switched. Ed organizes a hunting party to track down Wheels and Sheridan.

Episode 297

Two shots ring out from the hideaway when Ed barrels in. Penny is open to get married to suit both their circumstances but Jamie is not sure. Jo Jo tries to get Valentine to see sense. Penny needs a loan. Dr Rock attempts to warn the fugitives on the radio but is it too late? Wheels is caught much to Ed's satisfaction. Sheridan has a plan.

Episode 298

Wheels is impressed with Sheridan for their lucky escape while Ed feels humiliated. The party continues at Penny's to celebrate the escape. Jamie pays for Penny's rent when she is about to be evicted. Sheridan considers their options. Ed pressures Valentine by saying Sheridan is pregnant. Dr Rock organizes Wheels to speak to Ed Farrell and an arrangement is made to return but is this a set up? Sam asks his dad not to pull the trigger. Dr Rock feels the wrath of Ed.

Episode 299

Wheels wants to sell the car as too conspicuous. Amy gets a new patient to look after at the hospital called Mr Richardson. Ed turns up at the station drunk. Penny tries to get Charlie to understand the arrangement with Jamie. Amy is nervous around her patient. Bob pays a visit. Ed talks to Elly about the connection between Steven and Sheridan. The fugitives steel a new car. Ed visits an unconscious Richardson. Wheels works up his courage to propose. The patient awakes.

Episode 300

Valentine and JoJo try to find Wheels. Amy seeks advice from Elly about Steven Richardson. Jamie is frustrated when working from the pub so puts an ultimatum to Penny and Charlie. Wheels tells Sheridan that they are not giving up. Elly visits Steven and tells Amy to keep monitoring despite her fears. Charlie starts to bond with Jamie. Dr Rock arranges Reverend Bob to marry Wheels and Sheridan over the radio. A drunk Ed searches for the fugitives with his gun.

Episode 301

Amy has a vivid dream about Steven as a young frightened boy. Ed pressures JoJo. Amy has another dream so tells Elly what she sees. Wheels catches Sheridan crying. Ed threatens Valentine with a gun, will Sam be able to stop him? Steven has a medical emergency. Ed is closing in.

Episode 302

Wheels does a deal with George while Ed coerces a confession. Ernie gives George some wise words. Ed uses the dog to help give away the hideaway location. George and Max try to stop the shootout. Ed is furious with the outcome, have Wheels and Sheridan finally escaped to a better life?

Episode 303

The search for Wheels and Sheridan is called off and George tells Martha he helped them leave the country by calling in a favour. Amy continues to have nightmares about Steven and asks Elly for more information on him. Ed tells George he is going back to the security business. He wants him to train Sam and fast track him to Sergeant – if he does so he’ll grant George early retirement and a great pension. Penny and Jamie continue their fake marriage in order to fool Jamie’s boss Mr Hughs and Penny’s landlord. However their false identities get them into trouble when he suspects Penny is having an affair. Amy begins to get reactions from Steven, his pulse races when she changes her tights and kisses Sam. Elly is unconvinced by what she hears but as Amy tries to wash the thoughts from her head Steven grabs her hand.

Episode 304

Amy begins to have dreams about Stevens childhood, she is moved by the abuse he suffered at the hands of his Mother and vows never to leave him. She tells Bob about the dreams and says she feels Steven is controlling her life in some way. She finds Steven’s ring among his things and finds when she wears it she is once again taken back through his life. The Hughes have lunch for Penny and Jamie. They are still convinced Penny is having an affair and he is forced to admit a fake affair in order to save her fake marriage. George tells Sam about the telepathic connection Steven shared with Sheridan.

Episode 305

It’s the day of the inquest investigating the petrol station shooting. Sam is nervous and on the way to court he punches a photographer. He confesses to George that the gun Murphy had was a water pistol and that Harry Haddock and the boys at Newbridge covered for him. George tells him he has to tell the truth in court but Sam fails to. Bob holds Stevens ring whilst he is talking to him. As he takes the ring off his finger Steven goes into cardiac arrest. Only when Bob places the ring back on his finger does Steven begin to breathe again. Later on that day Elly receives a shock when she sees Steven without his bandages for the first time. Meanwhile Penny and Jamie are subjected to marriage counselling and are surprised when the counsellor tells them they are the most compatible couple she’s ever met.

Episode 306

Sam is worried when Amy fails to show up for work. He and Max are alerted to a break in at Steven’s old house and they find Amy there. She is taken to the police station but won’t say anything that sheds light on the situation. Sam goes back to Steven’s house and finds a picture of a young Steven – on the back is written ‘Steven for Amy’. Toni, Claire and Jo-Jo go through Joey’s Dr Rock fan mail. They are alarmed when they come across some vicious mail and later receive a ticking parcel. Convinced it’s a bomb they take it to the police station where George examines it. The parcel explodes – it’s a flour bomb containing a note which says ‘The next one will be real.’ Back at the hospital Steven speaks to Amy and asks her to kill him.

Episode 307

Elly finds Amy asleep near Steven’s bed. Amy explains Steven spoke to her and asked her to kill him. Elly and Bob watch as Amy tries to get a response from Steven, she fails but when Bob speaks to him Steven’s pulse again starts to raise. CJ appears to have a crush on Penny much to the horror of Mrs Hughes. Toni, Jo-Jo and Claire get worried about hate mail being sent to Joey as his Dr Rock persona. They take the letters to George and Max who track down a guy called Wilber who admits he sent the hate mail. However when Joey and Jo-Jo return home they find their place has been trashed. Sam visits Amy’s Mum Julia and demands to know what happened to Amy during the 2 years she went missing as a child. Back at the hospital, Elly agrees to let Amy stay as Steven’s nurse. Amy gives Steven a sack to put over his face and his scar.

Episode 308

Elly allows Claire to spend the night on the Dr Rock show with Joey. When the show is finished Joey leaves Claire whilst he checks on their taxi, when he returns outside Claire is gone. George breaks the news to Elly and Bob and Elly’s anger is aimed at Joey. They all head to the radio station in hope of making contact with Claire’s abductor. A woman phones the radio station – she has Claire. She tells them her name is Cathy and she has a personally vendetta against Elly. Her child died of meningitis and no one could save him. Elly realises who Cathy is and they all rush to her house. When they arrive there is no sign of Claire or Cathy and we learn that they are in The Windsor’s old house and Cathy has a bomb. As Elly once again speaks to Cathy on the radio, Claire tries to escape – just as the bomb explodes. Meanwhile, Amy tells Sam they shouldn’t see each other for a while.

Episode 309

Toni, Jo-Jo, Penny and Charlie are doing a keep fit class when CJ arrives and tells them about Claire. Claire is at the hospital and managed to escape as the bomb went off. Cathy was found dead in the explosion and Elly blames Joey for the whole thing. Jason from the keep fit class drop of Toni’s bag to her. She asks him out for dinner and surprises herself with her forward nature! CJ appears to be jealous and Max tells Jason he has to treat Toni well. Amy is once again trying to up Steven’s respond. She begins to talk about Sheridan and out of anger Steven grabs her by the neck. Jo-Jo tries to speak to Joey about Claire but he is racked with guilt. Jason goes to Toni’s for dinner. CJ does everything he can to spoil their evening.

Episode 310

Jason invites Toni for a day out. They go to the countryside where Toni tells him about her experience with Steven. Meanwhile CJ confesses to Max that he’s in love with Toni. When Toni returns home CJ’s questioning upsets her and she decides to move out. Amy gives Steven a drug, which helps him get stronger – she tells him she wants him to kill someone for her. Nurse Melanie becomes a little suspicious of Amy. Sam continues to pester Julia but she refuses to give him any information on Amy’s missing years.

Episode 311

Toni asks Elly is she can move back in. Elly agrees and asks Toni to look after Claire whilst she’s at work. Jason later asks Toni our and Claire insist she goes. Whilst alone a ticking clock reminds Claire of the bomb and she smashes it to pieces injuring herself in the process. Bob arrives at Elly’s and finds Claire in the kitchen cupboard. Melanie finds drugs in Amy’s bag and confronts Elly – she tells her Steven’s heart rate has been all over the place. Amy gets herself out of the mess and later finds Steven out of his bed and standing up. Bob takes Claire to the hospital where her cuts are treated. Elly feels bad for leaving her alone and they realise they had underestimated the effect the bomb had on her.

Episode 312

CJ is down in the dumps due to Toni moving out. The guys decide to get him a flatmate and Jo-Jo takes to the streets to advertise. Joey wants to see Claire but Elly won’t allow it. Toni tells her to give him a go as he feels guilty about what happened. Melanie moves in with CJ and Max and we soon learn she used to go out with Jason. When he visits the house they waste no time in sleeping together again. Amy gives Steven a gun and when Elly and Bob go to the hospital they see he is missing. Amy gets in her car to go home and finds Steven in her backseat.

Episode 313

CJ catches Jason and Melanie together. He is upset and asks Bob for advice. Bob tells him to tell Toni which he does. Toni tells him he has ruined their friendship and is just being spiteful. CJ presses Jason to tell Toni the truth but he won’t – resulting in CJ hitting Jason. Amy takes Steven to a deserted warehouse and outs him in a cage. He won’t eat and refuses to get strong for her. The police assume Steven has kidnapped Amy and they break the news to Julia. Sam asks her to tell George about the missing years but she won’t – he will only say that Amy wants her dead. When Steven won’t fire the gun for Amy she tells him to leave, but after a while he returns to her in the warehouse.
